WOW! WBI, Delmar, SPD & Delaware State Police ROCK!

Folks, I have just returned from the scene and will soon be providing EXCLUSIVE pictures just as soon as WBI gives me the GO.

Talk about unbelievable instincts! I had just called the Sheriff's Department telling them there was a 4 door sedan on the side of the road with an unmarked car behind it. My concern was, there was no one there. A woman's dog got loose and I called it and was able to catch it. I said, do you happen to know who's vehicles these two cars belong to. She replied, I'm not sure but you could ask the Police Officers in the woods, they should know.

BAM! There they were and I got it! TWO individual, (who's names I'm withholding for now) are in custody and I have the pictures.

Great Work Officers! More to come.

  2. Great job at catching the dog and for being at the right place at the right time. DT will have your story in about 3-4 days (as usual).

  3. DT will try to make it look like Joe was a suspect or somehow involved.

  4. Joe, you never cease to amaze me. If I ever need to get something done... I'll be calling you!

  5. joe was there and was looking at spd and wbi working hand in hand to solve the crime. it was a collective effort from EVERY agency involved. just because you hate the chief doesnt mean you should exclude the hard work from the officers and detectives from spd. your bias is to much!!

  6. Joe,

You are one lucky bastage to be in the right place at the right time.

    Can't wait for pics.

  7. Webster was to busy working on his lawsuit to leave his office. The three village idiots won't admit it but they were most likely locked up inside to stay safe while everyone was on the lookout for this car.

Now that the excitement is over BT and the FOB's are having a fit that once again THAT JOE ALBERO was there to get the story. Joe, we know you were there just to prove your point which that woman wouldn't allow you to make last night.

Point well made. There IS crime in Salisbury AND the chief isn't doing a thing about it.

  8. Todd Dudek would have been there to take photos for the Daily Times...however, he was a little busy being arrested today.

  9. DT headline says PNC bank robber crosses statelines, but when you click on the story there is absolutely nothing referencing it crossing statelines. Has anyone else realized how often they do this. They will have a headline and when you click on the story it provides nothing in reference to the headline. This is just a hunch and I could very well be wrong, but being the news freak I am the following seems to be happening. A story breaks, all news media put out a report with few details available at the time (usually sbynews 1st), sbynews has a break with more details, and DT not knowing what exactly is going on will put up a headline to lead you to believe that they have information, only to click on the story to see absolutely nothing more then what was previosly there and wondering what they are talking about. Guess they would have to give Joe to much credit if they were to explain the headlines that are actually just leads from sbynews. I could be completely wrong, but has anyone else noticed that often DT will have headlines that are not supported by their story, but if you come to sbynews you get what it is in reference to???

  10. You are inquisitive. Most people would not have stopped or inquired. The timing with you is no coincidence. So Divine.

  11. anonymous 4:06, you are exactly right and please forgive me for not including SPD. I have changed the title to reflect them.

I was in such a ruch to get home, get my Grandson, write the Post and get back to the scene I left them out of the title.

Do NOT for a second think I was purposely doing so. I am truly proud of ALL of these agencies working together and I mean that with all my heart.

  12. What did SPD do? All I saw was Chiefy posing for the DT in front of the PNC.

  13. Joe, I was a witness to the bank robbery today, I was told by the police that I cannot give too much detail. I wonder if they are the same ones that robbed the bank in Delmar? I looked at the photos of the suspect from that robbery and they are very similar. Anyhow, Way to go everyone!(Joe and Cops) Great job.

  16. Chiefy has never bothered to show up at any other crime. Must be trying to gain sympathy for his lawsuit. Chief - you're still an ass. Move over and let the real cops fight crime.

  24. How come when WBI, Delmar, SPD, and DSP respond to a call there is no reference to "too many companies" or "who is going to pay for this? the tax payers?" It's "congrats!" and "what a fine job!" Yet, if four fire/EMS companies respond to a HAZMAT accident, car accident, or fire call where lives are at stake, there are too many people involved and the tax payers should complain. Doesn't make sense to me.
