ReplyDeleteDon't disrespect Fernando...he should be called the undefeated NABO champion...
The NABO is a belt most boxing fans have never heard of. It's a good junior belt, but no one should feel slighted for it not being referenced.
ReplyDeleteNicklow is an interesting pick for an opponent. I've seen him fight 3 times. He is fairly well known in the Baltimore boxing circles. He would have probably made a good opponent for a match in this area. "The Beast" is only 22 (4 months younger than Fernando), despite his moniker, he doesn't have much pop, but can box a little. During his short career he's weighed between 150-159.
Fernando by *WIDE* unanimous decision around 8 rounds to 2 or late round knockout.
Your headline date is wrong- it is Friday the 18th, which your article points out correctly.
ReplyDeleteis this a title fight?
ReplyDeleteI think it's perfectly fitting that the nation's 6th most violent city(as per Mr Albero's reporting) has a guy who hits people for a living as a hero.
ReplyDeleteIs the fight on December 16 or 18?
ReplyDeleteHopefully, he is starting to earn so serious money. It is a tough way to earn a living. I hope he can cash in and get out.
ReplyDeleteGonna have to start fightin real fighters.
ReplyDeletehow come in the N.A.B.O rankings it says he's the interm champion. What does interm mean?
ReplyDeleteWOW, why do they keep setting him up with wussies? OK so we will see him fight a no good fighter. Keep tossing in the losers fighter so when he does fight a real one, he will be put down with shame.
