Thank You Mr. Albero

I speak for all residents of Salisbury in applauding your diligent effort in helping to turn the City government around. While that may not be happening as fast as desired, there has been real change from this time a year ago, for which you are responsible in no small measure.

Especially important: your assistance in preventing Barrie Tilghman from being reelected as mayor and keeping Bubba Comegys out of that office. Another significant public service: exposing John Robinson, Chiefy Webster and Jonathan Taylor for what they are, which needs no description thanks to this blog.

Let’s hope that your information postings about the candidates for fire chief has the appropriate effect on the selection process.

There are many other matters – too numerous to mention specifically – for which we say “Thanks”! And now it’s time to stuff a turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. It's nice to see the "good old boys " attitude being dismantled.
It will be a slow process , but keep chipping at the rock , and it will surely break.

  6. You are giving John Robinson too much credit here having on the list. He is a nobody that wants to be somebody and giving him recognition empowers him even if its negative.

  7. Joe:

Please keep your eyes on Wicomico County government too -- it's now public that Pollitt is using Fineran to organize a "grass roots" drive to kill the revenue cap.

2010 is a county election year I believe, and we need to get the democrats out as soon as possible on the council and a new County Exec. too.

  9. 10:26 As a taxpayer I beg to differ it is everyones business. That truck does not belong to the fire department or the city it belongs to the taxpayers.
