ReplyDeleteDid the detectives get to drive the big Fire Truck to Tulsa? The SFD needs to share their toys.
ReplyDeleteSPD wants to serve warrants outside of the state. thats awesome. Cant solve the crimes in salisbury so they are willing to go out of the state.
ReplyDeleteDoes SPD pay overtime for a PIO like SFD?
ReplyDeleteI wish they'd called me first. I know a great steak place in Tulsa.
ReplyDeleteI don't care where they serve the warrants, as long as they're arresting the perps.
ReplyDeleteJoe, please tell us who handles press releases for city police? I am very curious if there is a full time person verses paying overtime as in SFD or is this handled by officers on duty? After a couple phone calls it is my understanding that the fire department is paying Ms. Brown to reach people on Face Book & Twitter. Now I find those two websites totally unnecessary and a total waste of my tax dollars. Can you please try to answer my question?

F/F Quillen, F/F Bailey handle extra administrative duty’s while on duty why is the fire department paying overtime?
Roy "D" Mercer is from Tulsa
ReplyDeleteI can understand paying a person overtime when the rare large scale event happens to inform news media just not on a day to day basis. You can’t tell me office personnel at fire headquarters are that busy one of them can’t distribute a press release I mean come on. Jezzz type it and send it’s not that hard.
ReplyDelete400 block of W. College Ave.? One of the "good" neighborhoods? Was the victim a college student I wonder?
ReplyDeleteTHat arrest is a perect example of proactive policing. Some call it harassment but if they stop every one of these guys hanging out on street corners drinkingmthey will find all kinds of illegal stuff, maybe even someone with warrants.Hit Doverdale and Church as well as Westside.
