Salisbury News has been informed there's a fire at one of the local Motels. If it's only one room, that should limit the volume of multiple Fire Departments throughout the entire Eastern Shore. Besides, it's daytime so there shouldn't be as many people on hand. Pictures to follow.
Baltimore FD is on its way...
ReplyDeleteThat was just an air conditioning unit at Thrift Travel Inn.
ReplyDeleteHowever, Goodfella's Restaurant in Pittsville (Old Ocean City Rd & Gumboro Rd) is currently on fire.
Pittsville, Parsonsburg, & Willards fire departments on location.

ReplyDeletejoe,
ReplyDeletethe units that were there are part of the normal operating response matrix for the city in the event of a dispatched building fire. upon investigation of the room by one of the officers, all but two units were placed in service. quit bashing
hope no hookers hurt!
ReplyDeleteI was at the tastee freeze aroundlunch time I saw the Ladder truck going north and at Liberty Street for some reason they deicded to pull to the right and make a u turn to go south on the roandway. During this turn the fire truck pulled into the path of black pick up truck almost causing the truck to almost hit the new truck. Wow all the training they are getting driving it around and they still can't drive properly. Wish the police saw the move but then again nothing would have been done to the good old boys. I know of one incident when some fireman was given a citation for following afire truck to close and boy did the cop get a rough time from his boss.
