Date of Occurrence: September 29, 2009 at approximately 7:15 p.m.
Suspect(s): Unknown suspects driving a dark colored pick-up truck
Resume: On Tuesday September 29th at approximately 7:15 p.m., a 61 year old male from Lewes was traveling eastbound on Fisher Road, just west of Cool Spring Road. The victim advised an approaching dark in color truck had the high beam lights activated.
The victim turned on his high beam lights to inform the other operator that their high beam lights were illuminated. When the suspect vehicle failed to dim the lights, the victim kept his high beam head lights on to remind the suspect that his high beam lights were activated.
When the two vehicles passed, the suspect threw out a chrome colored racket at the victim. The racket struck the victim in the head, causing a bump to the victim’s head. The victim refused medical treatment. The victim’s vehicle did not sustain any damage.
Troopers at the scene recovered the chrome racket and are investigating the case. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call State Police Troop 7.
Anyone with information pertaining to this case is asked to call investigators at 302-644-5020 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333
This is sad, but the guy that threw that racket while moving in a truck needs to be put on someone's team....cause that is accuracy my friends...LOL
ReplyDeleteWell the 61 y/o male shouldnt have flickered and left his high beams on. It doent give it right to chunk a racket but, whos to say the trucks lights were stuck on high beams mode and he might have been going to Auto Zone to get it fixed? Yeah, Im giving excuses for the criminals. Criminals get away with everything now nows with clever excuses.
