Our Dr. said his office wouldn't be giving them. He does not feel enough research went into the making of the vaccine. I totally agree with him & am taking my chances too.
I think that shot will make us easier to get sick in the future so when Obama wants his health care, the sick people will take anything that will come to them. They want to pump so many medications into us when that is the issue. You dont need 1/4 of the meds out there. Just good ol fasion rest and tussin!
No, and I won't be getting it. According the the CDC, there are pesticides and other carcinogens in this vaccine and they do not know what the long term effects will be on the human body. No thanks! That's enough disclaimer for me!
i am getting the seasonal flu shot, but will pass on the H1N1. After the talk of cancer causing agents being in the H1N1 vaccine, I'll take my chances.
75th Street Medical in Ocean City has the nasal H1N1. My husband and I got both the injected regular flu shot and then this H1N1 strain. We are very happy with trying to be as safe as we can during this flu season.
1:08 while its true that 75th st. medical center HAD the vaccine (they currently are out), they would not accept Blue Cross Blue Shield so you had to pay "up front" for the shots - something like $30.00 per dose. $30.00 per dose PER FAMILY of four is not chicken feed.
Nope the first daughters don't even have it yet! They say they are not "high risk". Whatever!! If it so important the first daughters would have theirs even if they aren't at high risk, don't you think! They wont deny the girls the shot. They would put them at the front of the line ahead of all the "high risk" people. Its a Joke so the medical companies can make a mint on the crap! Whoever hasn't got theirs yet, YOU CAN HAVE MINE!
No way. I have done too much research on the vaccines to be dumb enough to get it or allow my children to get it. Good luck in the next 6 years to all of you that did get it. Just hope the healthcare reform doesn't pass for those of you that have; if it does, you will be regretting your decision.
Anon 112 The flu SHOT isn't a live virus, so you can't get the flu from getting the shot. You can, however, get sick w/ a strain of flu that the flu shot doesn't protect against. The flu MIST (nasal) is a LIVE virus, which means that, yes, there is the potential for you to exhibit flu like symptoms after receiving this vaccine (as with any live virus-MMR/varicella/etc).
No and I do not intend to. There are some seriously controversial chems in this experimental shot.
I am highly annoyed that there is so much hype about H1N1. I'm a pregnant mother with 2 boys and I now hear that they won't be able to come visit me and their new baby in the hosptial. What a load of CRAP! PRMC is feeding the paranoia.
NO! I'll take my chances!
ReplyDeleteNo way
ReplyDeleteNo I agree with 9:52, we'll take our chances.
ReplyDeleteNo & I'm not getting one.
ReplyDeletewhere in the heck would we have gotten it from? no one around here has it
ReplyDeleteHas Congress had theirs yet? Have the Obamas had theirs yet? Until they step up and be the guinea pigs I'm not taking anything.
