Fox News star Bill O’Reilly showed up in costume as Count Dracula on a special Halloween episode of ‘The View‘ this morning to promote his book ‘A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity,’ but he showed a vampire’s talent for finding the jugular by addressing the ongoing controversy between Fox News and the Obama administration, most notably the recent comments from the White House claiming that Fox News operates as an “arm of the GOP.”
“I sent Barack Obama a fruit basket for that comment because our ratings were up 20% since he made it,” O’Reilly said. “It’s great. We want him to not like us.”
O’Reilly challenged the President’s criticisms of the network, saying “I don’t know what he’s trying to accomplish. He’s fighting us harder than the Taliban. If he has a beef with us, then he should come on the show and tell us what the beef is.”

Exactly why shows like his, Rush Limbaugh and Keith Olberman can not be taken as valid news sources. It is all about the money. They say things for ratings and only ratings.
ReplyDeletejefferson is an idiot, comments like that from these uninformed individuals has caused the situation we are in at the present!
ReplyDeleteWake The Hell Up
kn
So you get all your info from OPINION shows. Wonderful for you. And thanks for taking the discussion to a new level of academdia with your puliter like prose. I am humbled by your informative rebuttal
ReplyDeleterespectfully,
The idiot
Obama cannot stand any news organization actually reporting the facts. We are seeing the most untrustworthy administration in history. The other news channels only report what is favorable to Obama. They want him to succeed so bad they will allow him to destroy this country.
ReplyDeleteBarack Obama is going down in history as the worst, most over bearing President weve ever had. He has surrounded himself with Chicago style gangsters and doesnt care who knows it. He is the President though and we have to accept it. Lets hope that his regime doesnt do too much damage. Enough damage was done before he got there, but he has made it any better.
ReplyDeletedid o'rielly really say "what is obama's beef with fox news?"that statement is so laughable and idiotic, his beef is that fox news does everything in its power to undermine his administration.dick morris, dick chaney, hannity, ann coulter, laura ingrahm, all they ever do is impune him and anything he tries to accomplish and o'rielly and joe albero KNOW it
ReplyDeleteI have to ask. Why would a business like a news organization, which only exists because of this country want to destroy this country? Its all about the money my friend. Always, period. Call me an idiot if you don't have the vocabulary to explain yourself like an intelligent person would. but it is always, always about the money.
ReplyDeleteHey Jefferson
ReplyDeleteWith all of your wisdom and knowledge, I would like to ask if the Presidential election was held today, would you still vote for B.H.O. ?
kn
Jefferson the question is would you vote for Obama again after all the broken promises and light finally shone on what his hope and change is ? He is anti-Capitalist and if he sign's the climate pact he should be imprisoned I just hope the military is standing by ready to remove him he is a traitor ! As for O'Reilly of course he wants good ratings and the reason he gets them is because their fair and balanced unlike the one-sided media bias you embrace !
ReplyDeleteWell since I did not vote for him the first time I would have to say no. Fox news unbiased? I do not think so. Sorry
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine anyone actually publicly admitting to voting for Obama after what we have seen in the past 9 or so months, that being said, Jefferson, we understand. How's that Kool-Aid with your Breakfast?
ReplyDeletekn
To this Jefferson character: Which is it, is FOX a "valid news source" as stated in your first post, or an "opinion show" which you stated in your second? Why, FOX is both! Like a newspaper, FOX has its news segments where the attractive teleprompter readers read viewers the news of the day, and then they have their "opinion shows" which, like the editorial pages of a newspaper takes that news and provides insight from a personal perspective. It just so happens that most of FOX's commentators have a conservative perspective, and that really seems to be the issue that upsets you. But the reality is, most Americans consider themself right of center in ideology and that's why FOX's numbers are rising, and the other cable networks numbers are falling.
ReplyDeleteWel, what I was stating was that shows like O'reilly, Beck, Olbermann and Limbaugh are opinion shows that are not valid sources of news, becasue they are meeting the agenda of their advertisers. This does not make them wrong or right, thats just what they are. Fox, the network, is a news network. As for their bias, my feelings are they are way right biased. CNN is probably just as left biased. None of this upsets me. What upsets me is that people actually take things some of the "experts" like Limbaugh and Olbermann say as gospel. As for KN. I really did not vote for Obama. I was a McCain supporter until he picked a cheerleader as a running mate. I figured Obama would spin his wheels on health care and get nothing else done. So far thats correct. I actually vote for ..god...Ron Paul!!!! I am embarrassed now. and let me tell you kool aid and chocolate donuts are great after a haloween party night. whew
ReplyDeleteWell Jefferson, you have done it again CHEERLEADER Palin was the only uniting force in the Republican ticket, McCain is a Rhino.
ReplyDeleteThe Conservative Party has an opportunity here, if they take the bull by the horns, the Obamanistas can be stopped.
Americans in large numbers have had enough and it is time for a real change. Hang on the ride will not be smooth.
GO BLESS AMERICA
kn
Sarah Palin is the only united force in the Republican Party? Looks like I will be voting for Ron Paul again. Maybe I will vote for Ru Paul this time
ReplyDeleteJefferson,
ReplyDeleteJust shut the hell up and stop trying to sound intelligent and whitty. Noones buying it here so just move one, ok?
And by voting for ron paul you're just proving to everyone how big of an idiot you really are. What a waste of a vote.....
And comparing olbermann to people like beck and oreilly is silly cause it doesnt matter what olberman says cause noone watches that garbage, look at his ratings.
A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Obama. Pull your head out of there and look around. There is a whole world of wonderful good sweet smelling stuff out here.
