They should have promoted him
ReplyDeleteMaybe the 17 year old needed to learn what real negative behavior feels like on the receiving end. The inability to impress this knowledge on our 12-17 year old junior gang bangers is why we have 19 year olds on Hammond street shooting habitual theives oh, say, around 24 years old. (both considered "negative behaviors")
ReplyDeleteLet's give this man his own boot camp and work our way out of this crime spree in town.

ReplyDeleteDid they forget the 17-year-old was an INMATE? We never got to hear the facts about the INMATE'S past charges and violation history! To me, it seems as if they're making McLaurin seem like the 'BAD GUY'. If you ask me, personally, I believe we should have more people like him ON OUR STREETS let alone in our CORRECTIONAL SYSTEMS! Especially when it comes to today's disturbed youth.
ReplyDeletei know Cory and knows how positive of a person he is on a personal level..worked with him at another organization for 2years. This 17yr old boy had to provoke this situation to the max for Cory to even gotten to the point of puttin' his hands on him. Cory is not violent at all. However, we need more men in our society that will bring positive structure to our streets..Cory, your the man!!..im in your corner.
