The Wicomico County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 111 announces that on October 31, 2009 between 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. members of the lodge will conduct a scan of Halloween candy for any foreign objects. The candy and treats will be scanned with a metal detector. The scan will take place at the Wicomico County Circuit Court Building located at 101 Court Street Salisbury, MD.

this is sad...good but sad.. we have alot of sick people out there that want to harm our children. trick or treat is not safe anymore but u have to take ur kids because thats tradition... I hope everyone has a safe but happy halloween...
ReplyDeleteParents please go through the candy yourself. A few years ago we had some hign school kids put pills in our candy bars. I went back and talked to the parents and they denied it was them but we know because it was like full size candy bars and they only got them from this one house. AND IT WAS A RICH neighborhood.

ReplyDeleteThe idea that people put razor blades in candy is an urban legend. It just doesn't happen. Too bad the FOP is indulging the public's unjustified fears.
