Eric Ludwig, (known for his $12.00 haircuts) has opened his doors at the end of the beautiful Downtown Plaza in Salisbury.
This young man has taken a big risk to open his dream business and the dream has finally come true. Eric is a Veteran and quite frankly a really good guy. Please consider supporting this local business as he is just getting started and could use the boost.
I get my hair cut there regularly and so should you.

Will Eric be volunteering to give haircuts to the veterans at the Stand Down this weekend? It would be a nice gesture and a way to help out his fellow vets.

Looks really nice.
ReplyDeleteI normally go to those "old guys" (sorry dont remember the name) over by the old dresser building but today I will try something new.
ReplyDeleteThis man knows how to cut hair. I've been going to him every since he started his own Barber shop. Great guy and super barber.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I usually cut my own hair-it's just a simple 1/8 cut with the clippers, but I'll go down to Eric's spot just to support him and Downtown Salisbury. I work Downtown and We need more people like Eric and the others willing to invest in the area! Way-to-go Eric!
ReplyDeleteI work in Salisbury but live in Easton. I drive to Chestertown to get my hair cut. I have been going there since I was a child. I tried going somewheres new (Salisbury Mall) when I was going to SU and the the women butchered my hair. She wouldn't stop talking to her friends. So I have a hard time leaving now. If something ever happens I will be sure to give you a try Eric. That is if I still have hair. Best of Luck!!
ReplyDeleteDid you cut hair while serving?
Two suggestions, (feet & hands for woman & something to occupy the kiddies).
ReplyDeleteits a barber shop - no need for all the "fluff" if you cut good hair & its priced good - no need to do anything else - keep up the hard work eric!! ill be sending my hubby over asap :)
ReplyDeleteWomen almost never cut a man's hair well. Fellas, stick with the old codger barbers who could give you a perfect 10 haircut with their eyes closed and one hand tied behind their back. I look forward to visiting Eric's barbershop and wish him the very best for years to come!
ReplyDeletecongrates and good luck !!!
ReplyDeleteIf you want feet, nails and a massage there is a beauty salon right next door to the barber shop. No need cutting in on her business, there is plenty of hair to go around.
ReplyDeleteWell there you go, husband and wife can go get their hair done togther. Wonder who will be done first.
ReplyDeletedo you offer a good straight razor shave (or have plans to?)
ReplyDeleteyes i do offer straight razor shaves... nothing like it!! i know my place looks bare but rome wasnt built in a day and i'm working on it to make it look like an authentic old barber shop!

Congratulations Eric!
ReplyDeleteI have gotten my haircut from Eric for 8 years. My whole family goes to Eric (2 young boys). He's a good guy, hard worker and very personable.
My wife likes the way he cuts the youngsters hair.

ReplyDeleteGood luck Eric!
ReplyDeleteLove the ad on this site, great idea!!
Eric has been cutting my 4 yr. old
ReplyDeletegrandson's hair for the past year.
He is extremely patient and works well with children. I had lost track of him but glad it was posted on this web site. Will certainly being visiting soon.
I'm a hairdresser and I send my son to Eric, he is that good! Congratulations Eric & good luck.
ReplyDeleteEric has been cutting my hair for the last three to four years while working under another barber. When I recently returned from Afghanistan an APB was put out for his location. I refuse to go back to the other shop as they told me he had moved. Lied to my face. If you know any of his prior customers tell them about his endeavor. I really want to see him get this business going on his own.
ReplyDeleteThe Major
I forgot on my last post. As mentioned by other parents. My three year old has been getting his hair cut by Eric since two. The last 8 months my son gets in the chair alone as the relationship and trust with my son has been gained. Great with children.
ReplyDeleteEric is a good guy. Really takes pride in giving a great haircut. You can go somewhere else if you want but you will probably pay more and not get as good a cut as he will give you. Go help him out, as the money starts rolling in he plans on improving the shop. Sounds like he's gonna mix a little old school barber shop flavor with new ideas.
ReplyDeleteneeds some majors sports memorbilia on the walls, jerseys, balls etc. that place will be rockin.....
ReplyDeleteI remember getting my hair cut at a barbarshop in the same location or very close to it back in the 1950's. It was near Watson's Smoke House. Perhaps George Chevalier, who is about my age, remembers that shop.
ReplyDeleteLoved the way you have shared your views thanks alot for sharing will surely bookmarked this wonderful resource!
