The Salisbury Police Department was just involved in a high speed chase down Rt. 13 where a 4 door sedan vehicle was running from the Police. The vehicle at times was actually traveling down Rt 13 on the opposite side of the highway. The vehicle hit the curb near Main Street and stopped at that location. The Police have secured the driver. This happened just seconds ago. More to come.....
great update joe...i stay rite around the corner from the location and heard the loud bang from the accident...i may able 2 supply pics later
ReplyDeleteIf the police would just leave people alone these dangerous chases would not occur.
ReplyDeleteanonymous 8:43......please tell me you are kidding!!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the police are somehow to blame... This, people, is the problem with this country...
ReplyDeleteSBY police chasing?!! tryin to be MSP OR WCSD? sounds like auditions.
ReplyDeleteCome on??? Are you freaking kidding me. You say that this is the problem, yet if that was your child that was assaulted or injured by the people in this vehicle and the police wouldnt chase them, you would call them worthless. GET A LIFE YOU IDIOT!!!
ReplyDeleteHow about Good Job SBY Police.
It's about time the police in Salisbury are allowed to do police work the way it should be done.
ReplyDeleteGOOD JOB SPD
WCSO was chasing one down booth street. One arrested drugs also. Whats this place coming to.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work guys.
I will keep you all in my prayers
Darn! This would have been fun running down the river in the new fireboat while the patrol cars were racing around. The day will come. Just have to be patient until Homeland Security's gift shows up.

ReplyDeleteOh come on. Don't get all political because some asshat wants to be an asshat.
Good job SPD. Catching the bad guys is what it's all about - part of the protectin' & servin' thing. If the bad guy got away, someone would have been raggin' on them about that! Good job y'all. a few more like this and you can watch the crime rate go down - provided the judge puts them away for a while.
ReplyDeleteI agree, if police would just stop harassing people this chase wouldn't have happened...it's just wrong. They should just go sit at dunkin donuts and wait for the crime to come to them
ReplyDeleteOk next time the cops get into a high speed pursuit over a petty crime and they cause an accident where innocent people are hurt you will see my point.
ReplyDeleteWith all of the assaults of citizens by people jumping from cars and trucks with tinted windows, I would think that the readers would be a little more willing to wait and see if the drivers were suspected of involvement in a serious crime before all of this criticism. Do you want a kick a$$ police force that will take back our streets, or not.
ReplyDeleteafter they caught them tasered should have tasered them
ReplyDeleteIm sure the SPD officers are in IA now. Kemp loves to kill cops. I bet the officer who is involved in this has applications out to other pd's. I bet you!!!!
ReplyDeleteSPD, allowed to chase, when did they change that. I wonder if he called it out, you probably got them in trouble. The SPD admin does not like agressive police work.
