Do you get a warm and tingly feeling up and down your leg, when you see Obama? Does the sound of Obama's voice send you into ecstasy? Do you feel you were a sinner under Bush, but now you are saved? If your answer was yes to any of the questions, I am sorry to say, you are an Obamaholic.
The first step in curing yourself, of this terrible sickness, is to admit you are dependent on government. If you would like a cure and return to the days when you stood on your own two feet, help is available. However, you must be wary of another addiction. Don't be duped into becoming a Rinoholic. It might look, sound and taste different, but it's just as bad for your health. Some even call it Obama lite.
Undoubtedly many people will continue to enjoy the drink of big government, to go with their free lunch. I only ask for a modicum of consideration. Stop asking the rest of us to buy your drinks and pay for your own lunch. I don't want you to starve or die of thirst and would gladly help anyone trying to help themselves. Don't you think it is time to put an end to dependency on others?
Joe, most of us who supported Obama work just as hard to survive as the next man. We are proud to be Americans. We've fought this country. We've lost loved ones for this country. If you disagree with how we see this issues, fine, thats to be expected. But this idea that is perpetuated (by idealogues on the far right and left) that political disagreements = one side being evil, or unamerican, or lazy, or weak is tearing this country apart.
ReplyDeleteWhen it all falls apart the strong and self dependent will survive. Sometimes you have to know to run before the big storm hits. (yes a Katrina inference)
ReplyDeleteThe shallow brain power behind this post is very telling....
ReplyDeleteRight now our Republican and Democratic representatives are all the same. Their are a FEW good ones. Where is the change with Obama. He is just like Bush. Its about spending money to help out their friends. This country is on a deadly track. Until everyone can wake up and vote these idiots out of office we will continue on this track. I'm a conservative but I can't associate myself with any Republicans in office. They are all fake. We need real people representing us such as people who know how to run a business. Not Lawyers!!!
ReplyDeleteIf the parties divide between big government liberals and small government conservatives we might come to respect each other. I, for one, am tired of holding my nose and voting for tweedle dee or tweedle dum.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing wrong with extending a hand up. However, Hand outs only beget a demand for more hand outs,That's how the permanent dependent class was established.
Nope. I get a sick feeling. That man is going to be the reason for americas down fall before his term is up. Get ready for riots and the crime rate go through the roof!
ReplyDeleteLife goes round and round; that is the reason history is an important lesson. Unfortunately we don't seem to learn the lesson. Secondly, I think everyone knows that there a alot of Americans of any race who have worked, survived, or died in the line of duty. We also, however, need to acknowledge the fact there are also alot of men not working, riding in the back seat while their woman is driving him and his friends around. The number of people who know how to work the "system" to get housing, food, medical, clothing etc is also a know fact. We are being asked to do more for them; while the older and less fortunate people can't get jack because their pension check is $200 over the limit! We are tired of this!!!!1
