Thank You, Glenn Beck!

Thank you, Glenn Beck. By helping force the resignation of Van Jones, you have done a great service to your country. But in the exact opposite way than what you intended.

Your vile and vicious smear campaign has helped reverse one of the worst examples of miscasting since John Wayne took on the role of Genghis Khan in The Conqueror.

Don't get me wrong: Van Jones was the best person for the job he just gave up. But the job was not the best use of Van Jones.

Contrary to the media caricature, the real Van Jones is a thoughtful leader who knows how to use words to move people to action. To stick him behind a desk, working out the details of tax credits for green jobs -- incredibly important though the job is -- was never the best use of his unique and abundant skills.

This is not an attempt to put a positive spin on an ugly episode. I've actually been feeling this way ever since Van told me he was taking this job.

  3. A huge bow to Glenn Beck!! One down, many to go! The perfect job for Van Jones? Let me think...I passed a dead buzzard on the way to the office this morning...grab a shovel van because that's the only thing you're qualified for and have been doing, shoveling crap and dealing with buzzards!!

As for Huffington? C'mon, does anyone in the world need a manly hug more than her? It would probably make her see the world in a different light.

  4. sbynews is not posting the article b/c it is supported, just information to those who like Van Jones. Huffington is crap, now the readers know it.

The way that person is writing, it sounds like they are begging for a future job with Van the Man.

  5. "[K]nows how to use words to move people to action." WOW! I have never heard such a bunch of BS in my 33 years. Who was he trying to move to action when he said that whites were the cause of the environmental "disaster?" The guy is an avowed racist, and there is no place for someone like him in the leadership office of the United States. We are the UNITED States, and our "President" has done very little to unite us. As a matter of fact, I haven't seen us this divided in MY life. Obama rode a wave of "uniting" and "change" and "hope". Well, we are not united towards him, if anything, we are united against him. Also, to quote a bumper sticker I have seen, "How's that "hope" and "change" working out for you?"

Democrat/Replican. Black/white. Politically correct or not. It doesn't matter. Some Americans have been hating on each other since the election. But, one thing I am sure of is, Glenn Beck is a racist. And, some of you know it.
