The Security of Government Healthcare

Here is a touching and revealing story about National HealthCare in Great Britain. Visit the following links to learn bout the the fate of baby Jaden.

It appears that human life in the Britain National Healthcare Service has no intrinsic value whatsoever, any value it holds is assigned by the state. Once the state has control and healthcare is budgeted (as Obama has promised), this affront to humanity can occur here in America. It is already law in England.

Here is another angle on Jayden’s story:

Because Jayden was considered nonviable. His death was not considered or registered by the British Government as an INFANT MORTALITY. In America, we would have done everything possible to save Jayden. If we would have failed in saving his life here in America, we would have been counted his case as an INFANT MORTALITY.

Considering Jayden's case, if he were born and didn't survive in America, the INFANT MORTALITY RATE in America would have risen. Because he was born in Great Britain but the British government considered him "never born," his death was not counted as an INFANT MORTALITY. Therefore Jayden's death did not cause Britain's mortality rate to rise.

This distinction is very important. Babies like Jayden are born tens of thousands of times in America every year and "not born" thousands of times every year in Great Britain. This type of story illustrates why INFANT MORTALITY RATES are artificially low in countries like Great Britain, countries that have national healthcare and legislate a minimum gestational age, only after which a baby born is considered "living."

America’s INFANT MORTALITY RATE is higher than Great Britain’s. The left uses this statistic to imply Great Britain’s national healthcare system is better than ours. Now you know one reason why INFANT MORTALITY RATE is unreliable. You also know one way to challenge those who use this statistic to denigrate our healthcare system, the best in the history of the world.

  1. Stop linking to stories about healthcare in England. This is the USA. Besides, there are plenty of stories out there about your beloved insurance companies denying coverage to people who died as a result.

  4. Obamacare supporters refuse to learn from other countries mistakes! This is one of the most perfect examples I have seen. 2 issues in 1!

Imagine how that mother felt, watching her baby die and she could do NOTHING. Heartbreaking doesn't even cover it.

Excellent point regarding infant mortality rate. Apples to apples is what we need to make informed decisions. Ignoring these facts will not make it go away.

  5. I don't get it. On one hand, the left keeps telling us that "it works in Britian and it works in Canada". Then when there are facts about how bad it is, they claim " ours isn't going to be like theirs"

You can't have it both ways.

  6. 9:40 Yea and people die everyday with insurance approval and care. Stop deflecting from the facts this is an example of CUTTING COST!!

The US needs to cut cost in healthcare but not this way. It is just heartbreaking. A perfect example of the government getting involved in healthcare. Get out of my healthcare, stay away from my doctor.

For God sake, clean up Medicare first. Stop the fraud, Stop defensive medicine with too many tests, yes we need tort reform. NOW! Start there, our Medicare system is in shambles. Look at it.

9:40 what do you have to say about Medicare?

  7. The country will be bankrupt before any of the nations problems are worked out. This isnt rock bottom.

  8. Nothing will be worked out because of the far right and the far left. Neither side will compromise anything to get something passed. They are too busy protecting themselves and expecting all of America to adopt their ideaology. Like kids on the playground. Keep spouting your nonsense while your country goes down the toilet.

Isnt it obvious that this Left Right paradigm is being used against us? Most of us regular Americans feel nothing like these two political parties.

Stop thinking you have to choose between these two parties. Neither choice is good. Neither party is honest or even ethical. There are a few in each party who call the shots. They probably get their orders from rich bankers.

Think about it. Who is getting all of the Federal Money right now? The Bankers. Now they are reporting huge profits! A year ago they were about to go down, and take all of us with them. So we agreed that our great great great grandchildren should bail them out. Now they are splitting up huge profits and bonuses?

    Get real folks.
