Salisbury Police Department Press Releases
On September 10, 2009 at approximately 8:11 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on the three hundred (300) block of Martin St. for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival the officers met with a victim and a witness who advised that a neighbor, listed below, had fired a handgun at them while on the porch of their residence. The victim advised that the suspect had been involved in an argument earlier in the day with the victim regarding a noise problem. Following the arrest of the suspect, Salisbury Police Detectives executed a search and seizure warrant on the suspect’s residence for evidence and recovered two (2) firearms and a large quantity of ammunition.
ARRESTED: Anthony Moore, 52 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES:
Attempted first degree murder (2 cts.)
Attempted second degree murder (2 cts.)
Reckless endangerment (2 cts.)
Wearing and carrying a firearm
Possession of a regulated firearm
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900032062
On September 9, 2009 at approximately 2:00 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of Railroad Avenue and observed the below listed two (2) suspects attempting to carry a central air conditioning unit across the roadway. The suspects were stopped and an investigation revealed that the suspects had taken the air conditioning unit from a business on North Salisbury Boulevard with the intent to cut the unit into pieces for sale as scrap metal. The location of the theft was located and it was found that the suspects had cut the lock off of a fenced compound to gain access to the stolen property.
ARRESTED #1: Myron Lamont Bell, 37 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
ARRESTED #2: Warren Hammond, 52 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES (Both):
Second degree burglary
Fourth degree burglary
Possession of burglary tools
Theft (over $ 500)
Malicious destruction of property
Conspiracy to commit burglary
DISPOSITION: Both released to Central Booking CC # 200900031866
On September 9, 2009 at approximately 6:21 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Walmart Department store on North Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival the officers met with store security who advised that the below listed suspect had been observed by store employees taking property from the store without making payment. The property was recovered.
ARRESTED: Kimberly Michelle Houston, 39 years of age Seaford, Delaware
CHARGES: Theft (under $ 500)
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900031908
On September 10, 2009 at approximately 8:25 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Walmart Store for the report of three (3) shoplifters. Upon arrival the officers met with store security who advised the officers that store employees had observed the below listed three (3) suspects take clothing and cosmetics from the store without making payment. The property was recovered and returned to the store.

Moore probably was trying to sleep so he could work the next day and had a bunch of non-working neighbors who were up late drinking and playing their bass real loud.Been there done that-No excuse for shooting at someone but I sympathize.
