Paranoid personality disorder is a condition characterized by excessive distrust and suspiciousness of others. This disorder is found in from 0.5% to 2.5% of the general population. However, I believe it is more prevalent in politicians.
People with this disorder generally are combative and suspicious in nature and may elicit a hostile response in others. They often become involved in legal disputes. They may exhibit thinly hidden, unrealistic grandiose fantasies, are often attuned to issues of power and rank. They need to have a high degree of control over those around them. They are often rigid, critical of others and have great difficulty accepting criticism themselves.
More severely affected individuals with this disorder may form tightly knit cults or groups with others who share their paranoid beliefs. History is filled with individuals who achieved the pinnacles of power with this disorder. We now witness the Democrat cult vying with the Republican cult for power. The time has arrived when a group of citizens will toss all of the paranoid personality cults into the trash bin.

Paranoid cults = "birthers" + "bush plotted 911" theorists + "Obama is a muslim" +"he's trying to indoctrinate the kids" + "Bush and Obama are racist"
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they're plenty more to cover

ReplyDeleteParanoid cults = earth worshippers + global warming paranoids + Republicans are evil and want to kill the poor people + Anyone who disagrees with Obama is a rascist
Way to keep on buying into the fallacy of left and right, Bush IS Obama, there is no difference, just which corporation and special interest group will come out on top.
Did I mention the cult of the uninformed? They take anyone presenting facts as a direct attack upon them. Juries are made up of common people who sometimes make judgements based on expert testimony. The experts are generally contradicted by experts hired by the other side. How sad is it that voters are a jury that is not guided by an impartial judge. (media)

ReplyDeleteI find it hard to respect Republicans anymore. They've become juvenile, greedy, hypocritical, jealous liars. I used to be one. But I, like Sean Hannity, don't care to associate myself with them anymore.
ReplyDeleteAnon 10:30am Couldn't have said it better myself. The Republicans are destroying their chance at redemption by instigating or condoning this behavior. They have a golden opportunity and blowing it because reasonable voters want nothing to do with their party.
