More Con Artists

Joe,

The driver of this pickup was driving around Salisbury, Main Street, at 4:43 p.m. today giving a sob story about his dump truck is broke down and his wallet is in Snow Hill. He needs some money to drive to Snow Hill to get his wallet in order to get his dump truck off of the side of the road where it is broke down. I told him I didn't have any money (and I didn't). He started to cry and when I repeated that I didn't have any money, he drove off to the next people. He was in for the same response from them. They told me they were from Baltimore and they told him "No Money". He tore off for the next people on Main Street looking for his next victims I am sure.

I tried to get his tag number but my cell phone was in the car and I didn't have time to get a close up of it. I had just enough time to click this picture. He has wavy dark/gray hair, mustache, rough beard. Times are hard, but then we have these idiots stealing from people.

  1. He started to cry? LOL. You should have played the little violin for him.

  2. That would be the William Stier who is wanted by the Sheriffs Dept for the same type of offense and I am pretty sure he has been charged with this in the past.

  7. Joe, I think the title should read:

"William Joseph Bischoff, You have been blogged!" LOL.

Everyone should be aware that this guy is a crack addict.

To Anon Posters 9:57 and 10:54 -- It is STEALING if he obtained the monies through the telling of false statements. It's fraudulent and is considered a crime, whether you give the money voluntarily or not.

  8. At least 3 times he has stopped at my church asking for money on Rt. 50 near Mardela. Said someone was in the hospital and he had to get home to Snow Hill. When he was told he had to come on Sunday since we didn't keep money there during the week, he sped off in his maroon chevy pickup.

  10. Look at the tag in the case search it matches the same tag as an earlier post on pan handling.

  14. Thank you for posting this P.O.S.picture for everyone to see. Keep on posting and sooner or later everyone will know who they are dealing with. Its Jerks like this that keep the people who really need help from getting it.

  15. When I was approached by this moron (actually a pretty sly moron, if you consider how many people on this blog have been scammed by him), he asked for money for gas at the new Royal Farm store on Rt 50. He told the story about going to the hospital, leaving the wallet home, needing enough to get home to Snow Hill, blah, blah, blah. He also said that if I could give him some money for gas, he would pay me back as soon as he gotr home by sending me a check. No longer panhandling, it would be a scam of a loan with no intention to pay back. This is fraud, and a crime. It is stealing! Don't delude youselves that what is happening is panhandling, when he promises to repay. It's theft, plain & simple. I didn't give him money because he, and his story, sounded fishy. He shot right away from me and immediately found a more trusting person that bought his story. I can't believe, with all this publicity, that somebody hasn't done him some "ill-will", or justice, as I would say. He's apparently very visible and accessible to the public. I think he has it coming!

  16. idiots..if they aren't bumming money as a con..they are writing a blog, what a bunch of con artists they are

  17. Some people have alot of nerve,I hope he gets caught.

    ReplyDelete
  18. All of his potential victims should show up in court!

    ReplyDelete
  19. If you are a victim, call the Sheriff's Office. Someone is working this case and would help you.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The state police will tell you that it is not a crime if you hand the money over. There is no contract for repayment and it's your word against his. (not that his is worth a penny mind you) However..that is the fact.
