Here's My Problem With Obama's Televised Speech

First of all let me start by saying ONE person sent in a ton of comments on Obama's official speech, one after the other. Since they pretty much said the same thing, I let one up and dumped the rest. Clearly, ONE Democrat thought they'd be a smart a$$ and make them self look like they were multiple people and their short comments went up about every two minutes, one after the other. I've been doing this for almost 5 years now, I know when someone is playing games.

The way I see it is, if you want to play that game, go back to your own Blog and have your voice be heard there. Don't come here and play that game, just as you all tried to do with Kratovil/Harris. It's NOT that I don't want to hear the other side, I do. The problem is, you guys want to attempt to take over this Blog with your line of thinking simply because you cannot achieve the same kind of traffic we get here daily. Non-cents, I gave you that chance and you blew it. You and your hand full of "chat room" followers need to earn your voice on the Internet and based on your Alexa numbers, you're the second least visited Blog on the Eastern Shore, second to the Tattler, who only gets about 5 visitors per day.

OK, now that I've cleared the air on that matter, what will be said AFTER the televised speech. I'm more concerned about the wet pants liberal Teachers spewing their stupidity upon our incorrigible children. Will there be a format AFTER the speech? Will there be assignments AFTER the speech? What will happen to those children who's parents refused to allow them to participate?

While I'm sure Mr. Obama's intentions are good, there's more to this than meets the eye and I believe many parents are naive to the aftermath. I'll even be so bold as to say, Obama hasn't done any GOOD for America since he's been in Office, yet his cool aid drinkers continue to swallow the punch, pounding their chest because their Messiah was victorious. Most of them young, broke and incorrigible themselves, believing things will get better and not worse. They have yet to open their eyes to the reality of what the rest of America is seeing and damn those voices, (like mine) for exposing him to these realities.

God Forbid we expose the multiple Bank closings, half a trillion dollars disappearing and NOT ONE PERSONAL ACCOUNTABLE FOR IT and the list goes on and on. Unemployment skyrocketing, yet the MSM talks about new homes sold at a record pace and all the rest of the BS cool aide drinkers, (FOLLOWERS) want to believe because they're so blind.

I'll tell you what DEMOCRATS, here's a 100% fail proof plan that will work for the Messiah. Show it on a cable TV program at 7:00 PM instead. You know, let the PARENTS choose if their children should see it or not. Nah, they/you have more CONTROL over brainwashing OUR children in a/your controlled environment.

I'll even be so bold as to say, I do NOT like this President. I personally believe he was set up to fail and Congress is loving every single minute of this. I personally think it's a shame that the first Black President is being used as a scape goat for all of the screw ups from previous Presidents but guess what, you all fell for it, you all wanted it, you all deal with it. The man was NEVER Presidential material but like MOST Democrats who are FOLLOWERS and not LEADERS, 3 years from now you'll be back in the passenger seat and by that time NO ONE will know who to trust or believe.

America is in a screwed up state right now and quite frankly, the older I get the more I worry for each and every one of you. Let's NOT forget the Civil War when Soldiers would walk right up to your front door and demand you leave or they'd burn it down. Folks, they aren't taking away the guns but what good are they if you can't buy ammo! I have it by good sources that our Government signed contracts with TWO of the largest ammunition manufacturers agreeing to purchase EVERYTHING they manufacture for the next 5 years. Don't even think you can stockpile ammunition right now because guess what, it's too late.

Everything you have can be taken away in a matter of seconds, like it or not. Don't come back here with the tin foil hat crap or the sky is falling crap. I'm old enough and wise enough to see the writing on the wall and far too often history does repeat itself. I'm NOT naive enough to see these signs and NOT be concerned as to why our own Government would all of a sunned lock out the two largest ammunition manufacturers. They have been watching certain groups, they have been silencing the media and guess what, NONE of you have read ANYTHING about the 5 year contract the government recently made with these manufacturers.

Yeah, it's easy to sit back and say, Joe's losing it, he's going off the deep end. Tell me that in another two years or so. However, how STUPID will you feel when my statements become a reality. Show the program in the evening when "we the people" have the choice who will or will not see the speech. Let US raise and handle our own loved ones. Don't apply additional pressure on our children to be an outcast if we choose not to allow them to see it.

I'd rather sit back and be prepared for the worst than be a FOLLOWER, following a guy who is so damn clueless he has to pray on small children.

Ah, who cares, right?

  1. I think Obama is going by the old
saying "if you keep chipping at the rock , you will finally break it". He can chip all he wants , I'm
ready and have been for months. I
will not be a victim of socialism!

  3. anonymous 5:18, Is that all you've got?

Let me reply with this. He's YOUR ruler, right?

  4. Thank you Joe. You continue to put into print everything I've been thinking and wanting to say but couldn't. I have been on this earth a lot of years and I also worry about the future of this country. Our youth have become dependent on our government and the media have become whores.

  5. I'm not sure why my comment was not posted other than it disagreed with your intention in the post. I am a regular viewer and part-time commenter and usually sign my name, as I did on the Obama speech post. I am not associated with anyone else, so please do not assume that all dissenting opinions to yours are just one person. There are more people than one that disagree with you, just as there are more than one who agree. I happen to be moderate so I do not wholeheartedly follow either the republican or democrat doctrine. I would rather be educated about both views to make an informed decision.

  6. You know, Joe, it's not like old BO wrote a bad motivational speech; I think it was pretty good, and could be used to really get these kids started off on the right foot this year.

    Its just that...

It should be coming from their parents and teachers in a good, loving, environment, not the Fuhrer.

    You are right.

  7. Some of us actually got away from the media and enjoyed the weather. I have no idea what speech you're talking about.

Here's what I do know: It's Kool-Aid, not cool aid, and it's a serious thing when you reference it (I believe it's a term originating with Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly?). For those who don't know, do a Google search on the Jim Jones cult and how all those people died. Thank you.

  8. 6:11, that's the point. "Kool-Aid drinkers" are ones that blindly follow their leader without thinking for themselves. Yes, it comes from the Jim Jones cult, and yes, Bill O'Reilly has used the term. By using the term, Joe is clearly pointing out those that choose to blindly follow Obama without thinking of the long term consequences of their actions.

  9. Joe, first thing I can think of after reading this is AMEN! You always seem to see things the "right" way. Keep voicing your opinions. We need many more like you. Thanks for what you are doing.

  10. 6:11-- it's a valid comparison.. the Marxists pour out their promises of Nirvana, their followers drink it up, work day and night creating a national version of a Chicago election (and don't mention Bush here-- the Supreme Court made that decision.. ACORN just flat-out stole the 2008 election), then..
we all suddenly find ourselves living in a socialist country.
    You're right-- it's a serious thing, indeed.
The 'speech' is just one thing of MANY that are indicative of just how much trouble we are already in.
Joe's right. you just hide and watch-- you'll see.

  11. Well, it's a good thing we're not in a socialist country. Those who argue that we *are* socialist clearly are drinking someone else's Kool-Aid. There's been plenty of talk about it, and to date nothing of note has happened with regards to socializing anything in the USA. Am I wrong?

My biggest complaint of how spending is problematic can be explained with an analogy: a person deeper in debt than they can ever handle has no business maxing out yet another credit card. We The People need to stand up and let our elected officials know that we don't want to max out another trillion in debt. The hole we're in is so deep, that I can't even see daylight when I look up. And God help anyone born today, here in the 21st century, because they'll be the ones footing the bill for this mess.

At the end of the day, though, it's a representative democracy. If you don't like the folks in office now, it's up to you to vote them out, and get your guys & gals in there. Moan and complain all you want about who's in office now, but unless you're working to bring new leadership into the equation, then your gripes are not part of the solution, period.

Everyone can contribute to this process, in one way or another. The process of electing our leaders and removing them when they go astray is the greatest thing our Founders ever brainstormed, and we should never take it for granted. May God Bless America and may He give our Congress and Chief Executive the strength, compassion and courage needed to lead us all.

  14. Why is everyone always putting down socialism? We need to have socialized medicine now, before the insurance company death squads order the killing of more sick Americans before their time.

  15. Tracy, there's a lot of that going around today. Don't feel special.

  16. That's "prey on small children" not "pray" LOL!

  17. Joe,
I think you meant to say prey on small children.

  18. 7:06, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!
You are waiting for the laws to be passed so you can complain about the crap that has been handed you!

How it's done is like this: You banter and argue the proposals; reject the ignorance, and repeal the past mistakes for a more modern Freedom.

    Dorkhead!

  19. Joe, my ammunition contact advises me that after he is out of ammo this time, there is no way to know when he will get more .223, 7.62, 9mm, or .45. Apparently the military procurement section put it to two major ammo manufacturers this way - (Federal and Winchester) if you want to continue to do business with us you will sign an agreement to sell this type of ammo ONLY to us for a 5 year period. This will drive the price of Remington ammo through the roof. I don't know what the reason for this was unless the government is expecting an increase in ammo use. The only other reason is that they fear an armed conflict with our citizens is inevitable and that this is a way to interrupt ammo supply without coming right out and saying it. This and the report of a large meeting and training operation being held by citizen militias from 8 states in North Carolina next month makes me believe that something is coming to a head rather quickly. You called it months ago and if this thing starts it will not end quickly.

  20. Hahaha, I believe that guy in the picture believes that the next election is in 2010. See, here is the problem with not just republicans but democrats as well. Don't just listen blindly, do your research and come up with your own decisions. You call Obama a ruler and say we are following blindly, but it seems you are following Beck blindly. The only difference is one went to college.

  21. anonymous 9:41, Hahaha, it will be Congress that gets thrown out first. After all, they run this Country, not the President.

  22. You know,
I'm 'bout tired of this Obama hating and bashing blog. This man came into the office of the president of this Umited States of America in a shamble. Bush/Chaney, previous presidents, democrats/repubican and congress all lied, cheated, stole, corrupted, abused their power and became criminals themselves. It won't matter in 2010 who will be in congress. They will continue to lie, cheat, and steal from the American people. Make me just want to say, DON'T VOTE at all. Vote, for what. American greed is killing this country. Joe, I use to like this blog. But, I've come to the realization; no matter what we say here, nothing will CHANGE. At 53 years of age, the government haven't done a darn thing for me but increase my taxes. My taxes have pay for illegals, big businesses going under and over sea debts. The rich and corrupt are getting richer. The middle class (high, middle or low) are suffering. And, the poor are out their trying to fend for themselves the best way they can, legally or illegally. I'm just going to do my own thing. Survive the best way I can. And say, to hell with our government. But, I will pray for President Obama.
