  1. You hear alot about viagra etc. How common is this problem in men? Do all men have this problem when they get older? When does this start to occur? Just curious.

  2. Impotence can be caused at any age but typically hits the older generation because it is a secondary condition to another type of disease such as diabetes, blood vessel issues, testosterone dips, etc.
Also, there can be psychological issues that cause it as well such as financial stress and job stress. Usually if it happens in a younger generation, it can be a sign of alcohol or drug use when there is no other secondary issues.
Amazingly, viagra started out as a heart med and when couples noticed the benefits Doctor's transferred Viagra to a drug for impotence problems.
Impotence is not age discriminatory. Most older men experience a more satisfying sex life than a younger group which probably has to do with being in a more comfortable position in life, kids grown, less financial worries, etc.
Even though older men may have erection issues, they typically still have the sex drive going on. Viagra just helps mother nature along to make an equally gratifying experience.
