Kratovil Faces Hostile Crowd In Mardela Town Hall Meeting

As you can see from the numerous images above, the auditorium was at capacity with some 250 people attending and to be 100% honest with you, (besides Frank's Staff) there wasn't a single Kratovil supporter in the audience.

America is angry and they came out in masses all day yesterday where Freshman Congressman Frank Kratovil faced hundreds of angry people wishing to voice their opinion and being cut short because of time.

While it was announced as a Town Hall Meeting, once the ball started rolling yesterday morning at other events the tone changed immediately and they wanted to instead have a one on one with Congressman Kratovil. I'm told that Frank met mid day with Sheriff Mike Lewis and walked out of that meeting with the support of Sheriff's Deputies, (2 of them in Madela) to make sure everything and every one stayed focused on the issues.

Mr. Kratovil did change the format after seeing so many people waiting in line to get a number just to ask a question. There was no way this was going to fly in one short hour. Once the auditorium filled up, (which didn't take very long at all) Frank came in and started taking questions.

I too have to tip my hat to Frank as he indeed did take questions from a very angry crowd who started openly discussing their questions one at a time before Frank ever entered the room.

No matter what is said here or elsewhere, Frank Kratovil did his best to answer every one's questions but had to cut some short as they attempted to ask a second or third question. No microphone was available so everyone really needed to remain quiet to hear what was being asked and answered but a select few hecklers continued to shout out questions demanding answers.

The earlier Post from this morning shares some of the questions and details of what happened, so I thought I'd share more images and show everyone that people are sick and tired of what is being shoved down our throats.

No Chuck Cook, no Two Sentz, no Jim Ireton, NO DEMOCRATS were there to have Frank's back. They sit behind computers and talk about, (especially Mayor Ireton) how Frank Kratovil is their FRIEND, yet they fed him to the dogs yesterday because you know what, they're in Office now and they could give a sh!t any more.

I don't treat my "FRIENDS" like that. Then again, I'm not a Democrat.

  2. anonymous 9:31, Like I said earlier in my Post. You sit back and wait to protect your fellow Democrats. Rather than going to these events you're too afraid of being confronted by upset republicans openly willing to debate any one of you on these issues. Instead, wait till an article comes out about it and hide behind a ficitious name and defned your "FRIEND." ROTFLMAO!

  3. Was that "hangman" there again?

  4. Joe:

If those "upset republicans" really want to make a difference they should contact Senators Cardin and Mikulski, and also tell their friends in Delaware make sure that its Republican Congressman holds the line in the House along with Frank Kratovil.

And they should than Frank for what he did last week to block the Obama health care abortion.

  5. Ohhh, busted Democrates!

  6. I'd say that regardless of Frank calling himself a 'bluedog' he showed his true colors when he cast his vote for cap and trade. whatever he tells his constituents, I believe he has already made up his mind that he'll be voting for this piece of trash healthcare bill.
I hope he doesn't get too cozy in DC because he's not going to be there very long. PACK YOUR BAGS FRANK, IT'S TIME TO GO HOME!

  7. Keep whipping the mob up into a frenzy, Joe.

  8. Norm Conway was there and I think he sat through the whole thing.

  9. Joe, not all of us present are Reps many of us are Dems and we're sick over this bill.

  10. anonymous 10:54, WHERE? I didn't see Norm anywhere in that room.

  11. Sorry Joe,

But do you know every democrat in town No of course not. There were plenty of them in that crowd.

  12. What a joke. Seems this novice was sent down with "talking points" that he didn't even know what they meant.

  13. I was there

I am a Democrat and was there to listen and watch.

I did not get to ask a question due to the numerous uproar.

    I am a Kratovil suppporter.

  14. anonymous 11:05, YOU are so full of crap it isn't funny. I was there, you clearly were not!

That crowd, (every one of them) wanted a piece of Frank Kratovil like there was no tomorrow.

Mind you, IF there were, let me guarantee you this then. They DO NOT support this Bill, that's for damn sure.

  15. What ever happened to respectful debate. Unruly crowds accomplish nothing. What a great example in civics for our kids.

  16. 17 months left for Kratovil. Maybe then he will move back to P.G. County where he belongs.

  17. 11:36
Being respectful went out the window when the elected stopped listening to what the people want. Many are just sick and tired of things being taken away from them and having to pay for the free loaders day in and day out. They have had ENOUGH.

  18. Unruly, then your sure as hell goona love my way. Clocks ticking people. You have seen anger yet.

    ReplyDelete
  19. 12:11 he's from Queen Anne's county my friend.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The reason for the unruly crowds showing up around the country is the way these members of Congress who have been there half their life are talking down to Americans. It is THEY that want Clunker Care and THEY that will be exempt from the consequences.

    ReplyDelete
  21. No the reason is because they think the fear tactics will work.

    It won't.

  22. Let me explain a little something to the more than likely No Sentz Crew.

First of all, I just reviewed your Alexa Numbers and quite frankly your Blog is absolutely worthless.

In fact, so worthless that the City of Salisbury gets more hits to their Website than you do.

Perhaps you should reconsider joining forced with JT because his numbers are actually higher than yours, not that this says much for either one of you because I had higher numbers that both of you 4 years ago when I started Blogging.

That being said, if you want to come here and try to slip in BS comments making claims anonymously, like MBW and think you're going to control this Blog like you did back in the Kratovil Campaign days, you're wrong.

Oh, I know what you're doing and I'm sure you're very frustrated that I have rejected so many of your BS comments.

Here's the way I see it. IF someone like yourselves has something to say, do it on your own Blog where you have an audience that will believe your lies.

To try and send it 20 or 30 comments saying each and every one of you are democrats and were there to support Frank Kratovil at last nights Town Hall Meeting, you're liars because I was there. I spoke with many of the people in the audience well before Frank Kratovil walked in and there was NO ONE there that supported Cap & Trade and or Health Care Reform, NO ONE!

So preach your lies to your own audience because your game is over. I played that BS game with you guys when you lied about the other Candidates during the campaign and it will not happen again.

No Sentz was removed from Salisbury News because he could NOT be a man of his word. He made promisses, he lied and gave me his word it would never happen again and then bragged about how he went for it because he knew it was going to be his last posts. No Sentz cannot be trusted but like I have always said, I'm a man of my word and I'll not go back on my word and reveal exactly who they are and or what party affiliation they actually claim to be.

Enjoy your Blogs gentlemen because the numbers are out and you not only don't come close to even 10% of what we do every day, the City of Salisbury Website out ranks you guys and that without a doubt has to be the biggest JOKE going.

I told you in the past, your Blogs are more like Chat Rooms where a select few people go there and talk back and forth. You had your chance and you'll never get it again. Talk about stupid!

Now go call Jimmy and get the scoop on things before everyone else because you know what, no one cares any more. He won't be in Office for 10 years, so his claim about cleaning it up is a load of sh!t anyway.

As for Chuck, what happened when you told me three weeks ago 2 major department heads were going to roll in no more than 2 weeks or less, guaranteed?????

Typical democrat BS. Some of us don't forget Chuck and quite frankly Ireton has just a couple of weeks before school starts and if he doesn't make a serious move before then, it's over for Jim Ireton.

You know I like Jim and I believe in him. But feeding people lies and assuring them CHANGE is on the way and nothing has happened, well, just like Obama, they will all disappear from their posts and they'll NEVER vote again for a young man with no balls.

    ReplyDelete
  23. The crowd is just like Joe. Wanna yell and scream but never look to make things better... peacefully.

It's always gotta be a battle, and that is not respected.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I will give Kratovil credit he did show up in Salisbury and kept his cool. Other than that all I heard was political jargen and no answered questions including mine. Yes Norman Conway was there he was hiding around the corner not in the room. I was one of the first to leave after the meeting was ended by Kratovil and Conway was flying out the door like he was scared someone would see him and confront him about his lousy representation. He talked to a gentleman in a suit in the parking lot and then seen people exiting and moved / waddled as fast as he could to his vehicle parked by the road.

    ReplyDelete
  25. How is this Two Sentz guy anyways. Joe, you got the balls to put your name out there and picture but this guy won't even put his real name out there.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hes Jim I friend.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Kratovil should have asked "how many of you voted for me?" When it became obvious the room was full of Republicans, he should have simply said, "You lost, get over it."

    ReplyDelete
  28. Why hide Chuck?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Chuck doesn't hide. At least he's man enough to use his real name, unlike Sentz.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Damn if I remember hearing his last name.

    ReplyDelete
  31. 3:27 Yes the Republicans lost, but it is still Kratovil's job to represent everyone. If the majority of his district is opposed to this reform he should vote against it. Thats wahts wrong with politics today. They aren't there to represent the people, It's the party or themselves. Quite frankly I'm fed up with the whole mess.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I hope all of you that voted for Kratovil simply because you were upset that Harris beat Gilcrest realize your mistake. Had Harris won the election there would be no need for the town hall meetings because Harris would have allready announced that he would not be voting for this health care bill. Wake up vote Kratovil out next election.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Last night's town hall meeting was a beautiful thing. Not because people were for something, or against something. But, because they were taking the opportunity for their voices to be heard. Even though, Mr. Kratovil clearly did not listen to the substance of the folks' concerns.

I could not help but notice all of the "radicals" and "fringe" people like the seniors with canes and walkers, or the teenager concerned about jobs. As I sat in my work attire (OMG, I wear a tie every day - the left hates us "well dressed" folk), I could not help but get upset of how the Democrats are mischaracterizing, insulting, marginalizing, and dismissing at these people's deep concerns over socialized healthcare.

Additionally, Frank Kratovil has never referred to himself as a "Blue Dog" before in his life (what a joke).

    ReplyDelete
  34. Right.... It was a shock to see Kratovil on the Blue Dog list!
With his support of Stimulus and Cap & tax bills, Krato must be a "Born Again Fiscal Conservative"!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm a Democrat (registered as).
    I voted for Frank Kratovil.
I was an angry man at the Extension Office.
My representative let me down on Cap and Trade.
My representative is going to ignore his constituents and vote for the Health Care Bill.
I spoke against it and offered an alternative outline (written) at the meeting.
It was probably in the trash can before Frank left the building.
    I now write a petition.
    Frank needs replacement.
