'In God We Trust' Won't Be Added To Florida City Logo
KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Officials in Kissimmee, Fla., blocked an effort to add "In God We Trust" to the city logo, saying the campaign brought too much negative attention -- but a city commissioner vows to fight it.
Commissioner Art Otero proposed the idea because he believes the country is becoming too liberal on issues including homosexuality, abortion and marijuana.
Otero says he has plenty of support, and some residents may start a petition for a voter referendum.
The City Commission withdrew the possible change last week.

ReplyDeleteThey should remove it from anything that has to do with our government. It is a dangerous mix, we should take a lesson from the middle east.
ReplyDeleteAnd the seniors upset at the town hall meetings are organized secretly by the demon republicans and need their asses kicked by union thugs! I believe! I believe! There's too many people in Kissimee Florida who hate God! I Believe!

"In Obama we Trust"
Our country was begun on christian principles, and God"s name is no stranger to our articles of confederation, Constitution, and others. In fact, I have found no founding papers without His Name.

Yes, those papers mention God. They do not, however, mention Jesus Christ.
