  4. While we've received a TON of comments on this Post, they're too racy, so I rejected them. Come on Folks, you know I won't publish all that stuff.

  5. Too racy? Or racIST?

I can remember enjoying this show as a kid, and it never dawned on me that it was showing blacks as either stupid, corrupt or both.

Guess I was color blind. Andy was a good-hearted soul. Kingfish was corrupt, but the message to me was underhanded was stupid, not black was stupid. And even the Kingfish had his good-hearted moments.

There were shows with whites that played the same roles.

Getting back to the point of your post, however...the land deal looks familiar. Let's buy something without knowing what we're getting. Thanks, Shanie. And the rest of the city can foot the bill for that ignorance.

  8. Joe, why can't you post the comments you rejected? They are the pulse of the community, or at least some of the community.

  9. Well, if they weren't so racial and or curse words were removed I'd be fine with them. Until then, no way.

  11. I wonder if Shanie's playmates were Alfalfa, Spanky, Pete the dog, Porky, Buckwheat, and others whose names I can't remember. She is as much a rascle as they.

  12. I loved All In the Family and i loved The Bill cosby Show as well. I am not racist nor am I a red-neck. It is just normal I think for people to get a good laugh at the antics of others and we can all relate in some small way to any of those. I wonder how many people bought a car and found out it was not what they were sold. Only difference here, it was a house. Luved it!!! LOL
