Va. Tech Gunman’s Mental Health Records Found

Governor: Lawyers locate documents that had disappeared from university

RICHMOND, Va. - Missing mental health records for Virginia Tech gunman Seung-Hui Cho have been found, Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine said Wednesday.

Cho killed 32 people on April 16, 2007, then committed suicide as police closed in.

His mental health treatment has been a major issue in the investigation of the shootings. Those mental health records were missing from the university's counseling center.

  4. All that was required to prevent this was one solid citizen with a concealed carry permit and it would have been a story of one victim and one perp shot dead. The university has a no guns on campus rule, so only mass murderers have them.
