VA OPEN HOUSE - PERRY POINT

The Veterans Affairs (VA) Maryland Health Care System is hosting an Open House and Information Fair on Saturday, August 22, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Outpatient Clinic at the Perry Point VA Medical Center, Building 361, Perry Point, MD.

Veterans and their family members are invited to learn about VA health care eligibility and enrollment, available health care services, compensation and pension benefits, pharmacy services, and burial benefits. Information will also be available about VA programs and services to support veterans struggling due to a job loss or financial setback.

Representatives will also be available to provide information and assistance to veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Veterans interested in enrolling for VA health care should bring a copy of their discharge paperwork (Form DD214) and a photo ID to assist in the enrollment process.
