On June 29, 2009 at approximately 10:48 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Shore Store Convenience Store on Mt. Hermon Road for the report of a robbery.
Upon arrival the officers met with the store clerk who advised that she had been robbed at gunpoint. The clerk advised that she had been located at the front of the store when she was approached by two (2) suspects. The suspects produced handguns and forced the clerk behind the counter to the area of the cash register. One of the suspects vaulted the counter then removed the U.S. Currency from the register. Both suspects then fled from the store. There were no injuries. The suspects were described as:
1. Black male, late teens to early twenties, wearing blue jeans, a winter coat, a camouflage bandanna and black Nike brand tennis shoes with a white Nike symbol.
2. Black male, late teens to early twenties, wearing blue jeans with a white design on the rear pocket area, a dark shirt, tan Timberland boots a black cap and a white t-shirt around his face. CC # 200900022829

sounds like these guys are the same ones who robbed the shell station...these clerks got off seriously lucky!!

ReplyDeleteJoe: There was a murder in Salisbury last week, right? SPD apparently classifies that as a robbery. Murder should trump robbery so is that how they play with their stats? Their crime stats don't list the murder so what gives?
