BFD, he's a drunk and a pothead that deserves nothing more than to be put to shame. BFD he can swim, let him join the Navy. Oops, he can't do that because he probably can't pass the drug test.
really? a genuinely good local kid who is an international icon makes some bad decisions and this is what he deserves... please don't support anything positive and complain how screwed up everything is
why no mention of the guy who took the gold... aparently he was wearing a suit that is to be banned next year because it makes you faster in the water (according to the report on WBOC). Phelps trainer said he will no longer compete as long as swimmers are using these suits.... Who cares if he does drugs? He is an excellent athlete and if he wants to smoke and hang with strippers...good for him as long as he is happy...people are so quick to judge- how does him doing those things affect YOU?
Anon 801 are you just plain stupid, stoned or stupid and stoned? It has no affect on me whatsoever. Those he does affect are the ones that look up to him as a role model or inspiration. So what is his inspiration? Get drunk and do some community service, then go off to the Olympic games, win some gold medals, come home and have your picture taken while hitting a bong at yet another party. It will be all good and swept under the carpet because hey, he's one damned good athlete. Screw him and his ability. He trashed himself and you want to put him on a pedestal. You really need to get a grip if you think his behavior is OK. No wonder this country is going to hell with your mentality.
its the weed
