Ray L. Rutledge, 39 – 2 counts of Promoting Prison Contraband and 1 count of Conspiracy
Charles Meritt, 36 – 2 felony counts and 1 misdemeanor count of Promoting Prison Contraband and 4 counts of conspiracy
William Weedon Jr, 51 – 2 counts of Promoting Prison Contraband and 4 counts of Conspiracy
William Weedon III, 26, – 2 counts of Promoting Prison Contraband and 4 counts of Conspiracy
Resume:
State Troopers and Correctional Officials continue to clear up the prison contraband scandal that plagued the Sussex Correctional Institute in Georgetown.
Four inmates that were housed at the facility were arrested at the prison and formally charged with there involvement in the prison contraband investigation. All four inmates were arrested in the evening on July 22, 2009.
Troopers had arrested Leonard Whitman and Carly Weedon on July 21 for introducing contraband into the prison. Whitman was a Correctional Officer during the time of his arrest.
The investigation is continuing and troopers expecting additional arrests.
No bail information was available at the time of this release.

That jail ain't no jail. Especially if you are on work release. Some just travel to Maryland and sit at their girlfriends house all day and then go to work.
