Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc., is holding its grand opening in Salisbury, Md., on Saturday, July 11th!
Stop by the shiny new Checkers on South Salisbury Boulevard, across from Giant Shopping Center, in Salisbury, and enter to win a LCD TV and an iPod! Drawings for free combo meals too!
Plus enjoy a classic car show by the Wheels that Heal Car Club. OC104 will broadcast live from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Stop by for the grand opening to try to win the prizes, but I would not get none of the food. I went there the other day and the food was terrible. The burger was half done and made wrong and the soda I had gotten tasted like soap.
ReplyDeleteStop by, put some more unhealthy food in your body.
ReplyDeleteIf they don't speed up their service some, they are going to close alot quicker than they opened.
ReplyDeleteCheckers is GREAT
ReplyDeleteI think they need to fire the help and start again!! Poor service and poor food quality will have them closing sooner than they think !!!
ReplyDeleteYou have got to give them a chance. We have had Checkers here in Florida for years and, yes it is not the most healthy place to eat, but the food is good and it is inexpensive. Also gives one a chance to dine "alfresco" jackkcharl@aol.com
ReplyDeleteI wouldnt eat that crap if it was the last food in the world, burgers made from scraps cut off the unwanted parts, uuummm tasty.
ReplyDeleteVery rude service! Lost my business. Just wait until the college kids comes back, it will be a hot spot for drugs.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Checkers is any worse than McDonalds or Burger King, do you?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes the service there is TERRIBLE if I was the manager I would be firing and hiring as much as possible because their current team STINKS. GOD THEY ARE SO BAD I have gone there twice since it opened and service was really abysmal. IT should be called SLOW COLD CRAP. Not fast food.
Service stinks. I don't care if they just opened- teach the workers how to be NICE, how to count properly, and how to dress. And the seating otuside, inches from the busy road, is the most ridiculous idea ever!
ReplyDeleteI went there, went through the drive-in and took home two delicious burgers and fries. Service was slow but it was the first day open and noon time...I plan to go back often...not during rush hour.
ReplyDeleteWe tried it, the food was horrible and the staff was rude, and I hope that no one gets hit by a car, the line of people stretched into the drive through
ReplyDeletethe place sucks don't wast your time
ReplyDeleteI stopped in late this afternoon for an early dinner/late lunch. got the $2.75 bacon cheeseburger. The sandwich was great, the people waiting on me were friendly and took the time to make sure my order was right. Give them a chance. The fellow at the register said that the speaker wasn't working properly and that's why he double checked my order. No fast food is healthy, but if you are going to grab a burger, this is a good place to do it. Again, please give them a chance to iron out the kinks
ReplyDeleteI thought they had a grand opening 2 weeks ago....did they not get enough business then so they're celebrating again?
