It was just announced that Delaware Senate Pro Tem Thurman Adams has passed away at age 80. He was a great person, a great family man, a great farmer and businessman, and a great leader. He has served the people of Delaware most recently as President of the Senate, and was known for being prepared and doing his homework, and looking out for the regular citizens.
Please pass along this information to your readers, and ask that they keep his family in their thoughts and prayers.
Mr. Adams was elected in 1972.
His left hand doesnt look right.
ReplyDeleteGotta be a record Joe,
ReplyDeleteIs this the Adams scrapple guy Joe?
ReplyDeleteSenator Adams was a distant cousin of the Rapa Scrapple Adams'.
ReplyDeleteI felt it, wierd. I hope only the best for his family, us Delaware guys need to stick together.Im sorry for your lose folks. Memories are for-ever & they are always in your Mirror.
ReplyDeleteI was overjoyed at the news of Thurman Adams' death. His reign of terror on this wonderful state is now over. No longer will we have to suffer with his lies, deceits, and crooked politics. It sounds rather harsh to be joyful for the death of someone but it was rather obvious at the age of 82 that he had no intention of retiring and this was the only way the great state of Delaware was going to get rid of this corrupt politician.
ReplyDeleteAs a lifelong 37 year old resident of this state who has lived within Adams' district, I finally feel that perhaps now, the lack of transparency in the senate, the lobbyist lunches, the never-ending lies will finally cease.
