Every Law Enforcement Agency In Wicomico County Is Asking For Your Help

It only takes one look at the second photo to realize the recent crime in Wicomico County is serious enough to bring ALL of the Big Guns out for a Press Conference earlier today.

My apologies for being so late with this article. The Verizon Wireless System went down for a few hours causing this delay.

CRIME SOLVERS! I can't express enough just how important it is that you call 410-548-1776 or go to CRIME SOLVERS WEBSITE. Currently there is a $1,000.00 REWARD being offered and Sheriff Lewis expressed that there are a ton of tips coming into Crime Solvers but nothing concrete enough to make an arrest.

Law Enforcement is urging everyone, Citizens and Business Owners, if you see suspicious activity, call the Police. If you see people hanging out in Parking Lots, strangers in neighborhoods, CALL THE POLICE! They want to solve these crimes but they need your help Folks.

You can remain anonymous if you call the Sheriff's Department or Crime Solvers. The recent murder at the Shell Gas Station, the gun men had a shotgun and the other had a hand gun.

Mayor Jim Ireton chimed in stating, "This is where the citizens expect me to be." He went on to say the SPD had two Officers graduate from the Academy today and they have 8 scheduled to go into the Academy this Fall. "The public is fed up." From this day forward we are all on the same page and we must work together to solve these crimes.

Sheriff Lewis stated, "We need the public help to put these criminals behind bars." We predicted this 1 1/2 years ago an increase in crime due to the bad economy.

If you have ANY pieces of information, contact Crime Solvers of the Sheriff's Department or any other local Law Enforcement Agency you can reach, or simply call 911.

  2. Chief See was with the Fire Department. However, I'm sure you meant Webster. No, Chief Webster will NOT return until this coming Tuesday, he is on his Honeymoon.

  5. Webster is not there. Wow, Joe that was a smack in the cities ace. That guy needs to go and not look back. Cpt Tyler seated there is a good man. He could be chief any day of the week. That man will work with everyone and will listen to anyone. I have never seen that man with a frown. He is well respected at SPD. He would make a great leader! Get ride of Livingstin, Meinshine, Kemp and Parisano. Then the pd will run great!

  6. Local law enforcement:

Please do something about this. I don't care if we have to raise taxes to put more badges in the street.

A big part of the Eastern Shore has become a dangerous place, and it saddens me. Just a few years ago, times were much better crimewise.

The last thing we need is the majority of good people moving out of town, because of fear.

  7. Joe, you did a good job. You cant put out everything at that very sec. You got it out the same day which is good enough. Thanks

  8. Ok,now I know that Webster is on a honeymoon-Whatever! But this meeting needs to be held again and ALL DEPARTMENT HEADS should be required to attend. The picture has representatives from MSP, Fruitland, Delmar, SU Police, and WCSD-NO SALISBURY POLICE PICTURE! Did a SPD representative attend at all? If not, we have a serious problem! All of these agencies NEED to work together! GET IT TOGETHER SALISBURY POLICE DEPARTMENT!

  10. You have the right to have arms
and defend yourself.Just be very careful when doing so.I suggest going to a range and getting some good instructions. Their are professional instructers in the area. I use the range on Nanticoke Road . They have a pistol and a rifle range. I think there is another one over near the Vienna
    bridge.

  11. And the person who put the anonymous comment on WBOC about giving the guys time to turn themselves in before he comes forward---what's the matter?! The reward not big enough for you yet?!

  14. You guys quit bitchin , webster didn't need to be there. He doesn't have any input anyway.
What would he do at the meeting , oh yeh , dah dah dah dah. Webster
or "baldylocks" is just a taxpayers night-mayor.

  15. I'm going to make this statement and then only allow comments that are directly related to this Post.

Even if Webster was in town, if he knew Joe Albero was going to be there he would have refused to show up any way. This has happened numerous times in the past and his skin is so thin the wind could break it.

  16. Ha Ha that is extremely funny.

  17. The problem is everywhere , not just Salisbury. I'm glad to see the police are very proactive.
My god , how can this country even
    talk about restrictions on guns.
People are the ones that kill people! If you take the guns away ,
they will use knives or bats or rakes or anything , wake up America.

  21. If you really read the 2nd amendment, it's there for a very good reason.
It was intentional placed in the constitution to uphold our power over the government and for individual collectivism (militia) protection of our rights, freedoms and lives. It is not there to allow criminals to have power over us, a constitutional empowered armed populace. However that is the way it is these days. The citizens no longer have any rights. It seems everyone else does but us hard working, tax paying, normal American patriots.

Anyone who is for gun control is un patriotic.
You should stand for justice and freedom by condemning any criminals act.
Gun control empowers the ruling elite and criminals, whoever they are.
So to me you condone criminality.

Stupid is — is stupid does, says it best about knuckle headed people picking up a weapon without patriotism, training, permits, paper work, and storage, mental state and good common sense.

If the right to carry was nation wide, as it truly should be.
Only the criminals and tyrants would pay with their lives, as it should be

The law abiding citizen’s right to bear arms should not be infringed.
He needs to be ready to bear arms, when his freedoms, life, family, property, community or his country needs to be protected.

I have called Mr. Kravotil Salisbury office 410 334-3072 and
His Washington office 202 225 5311 Fax 0254 after receiving
Some BS from him in the mail.
I left a message and a fax, stating my disapproval
of the right to carry law in the state of Maryland and
expect him to do something to change it.

There is no reason a normal American should not be allowed to carry
It is our right. If your not a criminal or a mental case why not?

The justice systems very existence is based on the fear of guns. To me I fear not my weapons it’s the tyrant and criminal I fear. As for my fellow law abiding citizen, I have nothing to fear from you!

We need to stop playing games. The never ending cycle of criminals in and out of the system does not work! They use it to their advantage, keep us dumbed down and unarmed to bolster their bloated budgets on a justice system that continues to fail us.

Call Kravtovil and let him know we need to be a free to carry state so we, within the system can get our streets back. Police are for mopping up...they can’t be everywhere; the courts obviously are not going to protect us. It is up to us to put a stop to it. We should have the option, god forbid, should we become the victims to put a stop to it right then and there.

  22. Right to carry laws will never get passed in MD due to the large pool of left-leaning Dems on the Western shore. There are not enough moderate to right delegates in the state legislature to get anything past our liberal governor and his lt. gov., whom I had the chance to discuss this very issue with. His response to my question about gun control in the state was this, "We need to do something about the illegal guns out there." With that idiotic statement, it should be clear that guns are to blame and law abiding gun owners are also to blame, according to this fool. I have my ammo and guns readily available at all times, and as far as legally having a CCW, I defer to an old NRA slogan, "3 out of every 7 days I am carrying a weapon, you guess which 3."

  23. Call in the bounty hunters from abba and anchor bail. they seem to do better at finding ppl.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Joe are you saying that Chief Webster is afraid of you? Please!

  25. If they "knew" this would happen why has it taken this long to actually call this meeting? Do they honestly think the ppl committing these crimes do so because they dont have jobs???I have family in the midwest and their towns arent having these problems. NEWSFLASH: We have had a gang problem for months!! Salisbury is crack city and poverty here is high and good paying jobs arent easily found. Crime has been bad here for a number of years and the recent murders and armed robberies have been occurring for weeks and now they decide that enough is enough? Instead of pointing the finger at the economy how bout we tell the public the truth. This isnt planning ahead, if they "knew" this crime spree was going to occur hiring more officers and keeping the public updated on crime occurrences should have happened months ago.

The backwards eastern shore strikes again.

  26. delmar gun club; What a statement, you do realize that many of the sh*t bags commiting these offenses are clients of ABBA and Anchor.

Catch them and immediately dispose of them, problem solved.

Police get them and they become citizens who are afforded a lawyer and a trial. Then they get to show up in court all cleaned up in nice cloths looking like the vistims of society; This Bullsh*t needs to end.

  29. all good ppl move out of crimebury into the country . arm your self under due law , still lock ever thing up amd leave the outside light on , have a good indoor watchdog to alert you when they enter and practice a couple dry runs a month to prepare just like a fire drill. have family informed and go thru with you and have a meet place like a fire drill. communication and on your own trained turf you have the upper hand.overpreparing does bring some peace of mind to this situation.

  31. If Law Enforcement wants to get serious about crime all agencies need to be a member of the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation (mainly Salisbury City Police)and join together all their reources. Once this has ben accomplished, they should leave their egos at the door and get the scum off the streets of Wicomico County. But will happen, no, because several agencies and their Administrations will say we don't have the manpower and/or whats in it for us? The sad thing is the criminals know this and exploit Law Enforcements weakness.

  32. It is great to see all these leaders working together. This county is still small enough to control major issues with increasing crime. All the men pictured have worked together for many years. They know eachother well and there is a ton knowledge with that group. I hope this current trend of violence can be curtailed by planning and unity.

To Sheriff Lewis and his little sidekick G.B. way to be out there with the troops kicking butt. Sheriff lewis was out the night before this press conf. till after midnight stopping cars and being part of the effort. That motivates the troops and lets them know the man cares. He was not running the show, but was there if needed. That speaks volumes as to his committment to the community and then men and women serving the community as well.

If you think you know who these men are doing this senseless violence for pocket money, then call Crime Solvers. These men need to pay their due to society.

  33. I am calling the Chamber of Commerce Monday and suggesting that they encourage at least 100 business members to contribute $100 each for a total of $10,000 for a reward leading to the arrest and conviction of these scumbags. It is an outrage..this un horrible murder. Unless stopped, they will probably become more enboldened.

I will be making my contribution Monday. Hopefully a reward of this size will generate some leads.

In addition, it will demonstrate taht the business community is concerned.

  34. Its great to see them all working together. The criminal element needs to start getting scared.

LOL,I did notice that the SPD Captain is not in uniform...
