ReplyDeleteI love this country. Greatest on earth in my eyes. But if people like you take pride in ignorance and promote national chauvinism over real dedication to keeping the country truly great, it won't stay that way. Part of that dedication means working to be the best person you can be, able to read, curious enough to want to know what's going on, to know who our president is, what our history has been.

Knowing the capitals of countries does not fall under the category of something one remembers all of one's life. If one reads and listens to the news, he will know the capitals of European nations. Hungary has a rich history, one much longer than ours. I hope that you don't plan on auditioning for "Are you smarter than a 5th-grader?"
