There is no sidewalk on the Westbound side so this walk is a worthwhile contribution to pedestrian safety. As for the sign, they probably saved a few public dollars by using an existing sign. In any case, the sidewalk is still closed.
Those sidewalks aren't needed on a major highway and they are a major waste of tax dollars.
Joe, here is a tip. Check out the Salisbury Bypass by the new mall. They are repaving that entire bypass. Another waste of tax dollars. Those roads can wait another couple of years because they are in great shape. This economy is in such bad shape and we are waisting tax dollars. That money could have gone to the county's and municipalities where they needed to fix their roads and were cut by the state.
If money is spent on fixing roads, it is because that is the only thing allowed done with that money. Unfortunatly, that is how it works. When money is given for something specific, that money has to be used up entirely. If not, than less money will given for that specific thing next time around. That is how the government works. If you don't use, they won't give it next year.
This way to the unemployment line.
