at least they are in only a parking lot, while in town for the air show my husband and i were shocked at the number of trucks on coastal hwy where people were riding in the bed of the truck...did a new law pass recently that now allows that...i must have missed it.
1:43 as I understand anyone over the age of 16 can ride in the bed of a truck. If the truck has a cap the passengers can be younger. OT-What kind of an idiot allows kids to do that? I mean how drunk do you have to be to allow your kids to hang out of a moving 2000lb vehicle?
If they were so outraged why didn't they just call the OC police department instead of taking a picture, emailing it and posting it on a forum. It would have save them time.
I was following some kids Friday morning on my way to work between Easton and Cambridge. The back seat passenger was hanging out of the sun roof. He finally got back in his seat. Then the car hit its breaks and started swerving. I think the kid in the back pulled the e brake. The driver saved the car from going off the road. They slowed down to 50 and I passed them. Then they passed me on the cambridge bridge going over 80 to 90. They had to slam on their brakes to not hit a car at the red light. I called the cambridge police instead of taking pictures.
So let me get this right. Someone can ride in the back of a truck if over 16, but someone over 16 can't ride in the front seat of a vehicle without a seatbelt. Does that make sense to anyone?
2:20 PM when they saw me take the pic they got down and buckled, maybe I saved a kid now or in the future and what do I tell the police, they did it but now they stopped?
and to the second 2:20 take your dis and da and go back to your city! Glen in OC
I think you should start posting pictures of all the idiots who drive around with pets unrestrained in the vehicles. People please, your dog belongs at home. If you must carry to the vet or groomer, they belond in a kennel.

ReplyDeleteThe law is, you must be sitting in the bed of a pickup truck and not on the rails.
ReplyDeleteAre you the same person that wanted to open a skateboard park, talk about a brain buster.

All I can say is the old Suburu Bratt was awesome. Remember the seats with the handle grips in the bed? (for adults of course).
ReplyDeleteThe Bratt was the best. I had afriend who loved his so much, he actually buried it in the back yard.
ReplyDeletethats 400 hundred in fines you know

ReplyDeleteI like how 2:24 tried to be a smartass and spelled GRAMMAR wrong..
ReplyDeleteDoes no one care about the child that is standing up in the vehicle??? Wow none of you must have children!
ReplyDeleteDogs or kids do not belong on laps in the car-what if the airbags are deployed?
