Salisbury Police Department Press Releases


On May 11, 2009 at approximately 1:00 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant charging the suspect with prescription fraud. The investigation of this prescription fraud revealed that in March of 2009 the suspect presented a forged prescription to a local pharmacy and obtained narcotics. The physician on the prescription was later contacted and had not written the prescription.

ARRESTED: Ashlie Marie Meadows-Simms, 21 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:


Obtaining a CDS by altering a prescription
Forgery of a prescription
Possession of oxycodone
Obtaining a CDS by forging a prescription
Uttering a forged prescription

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900009939

On May 11, 2009 at approximately 1:06 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding Wicomico County District Court Bench Warrant for failing to appear in court.

ARRESTED: Antwon James Townsend, 20 years of age Pocomoke, Maryland

CHARGES:


Wicomico Co. District Court Bench Warrant
Failing to appear – CDS charges

DISPOSITION: Released to Fruitland Police Dept. CC # 200900015996


On May 11, 2009 at approximately 6:16 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the area of Hill St. and First St. in reference to an armed suspect. Upon arrival, the officers were directed to a vehicle that was attempting to leave the area. The officers stopped the vehicle, which was driven by below suspect # 1, and found that suspect # 1 appeared to be intoxicated. An investigation revealed that the vehicle had collided with a house on Fitzwater Street and occupants of the residence had made contact with suspect # 1, and a passenger identified as suspect # 2 in reference to the damage to the residence. The suspects fled from the area then returned to confront and threaten the victims. The suspects produced what appeared to be a dark handgun and pointed the weapon at the victims. During the investigation, the handgun was located by the officers and was found to be a construction nail gun.

ARRESTED #1: Servio Enrique Uridiales, 44 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:


First degree assault
Second degree assault
Reckless endangerment
Driving while intoxicated
Motor vehicle charges related to leaving accident



ARRESTED #2: Esteban Jimenez Hernandez, 35 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:


First degree assault
Second degree assault
Reckless endangerment

DISPOSITION: Both released to Central Booking CC # 200900016035

On May 12, 2009 at approximately 9:10 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a business on Civic Avenue in reference to a subject refusing to leave. Upon arrival the officers were advised by business employees that a subject was refusing to leave the business. The officers met with the subject who also refused to leave for the officers. After numerous attempts to have the suspect leave, the suspect was arrested, then became combative with the officers.

ARRESTED: Joseph Ryan Lawson, 28 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:


Failure to obey a lawful order
Disorderly conduct
Disturbing the peace
Resisting arrest (2 counts)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900016075

On May 12, 2009 at approximately 8:48 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on Ashylon St. for the threat of arson. Upon arrival the officers met with a victim who advised that during an argument with the below listed suspect, who was known to the victim, the suspect made statements to the victim in reference to burning the victim’s residence.

ARRESTED: Robin Lee Capper, 44 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Threat of arson

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900016152
