  1. was able to get 10,000??? Dont they do cash drops in the safe once they get a certain amount of cash on hand? The only thing I can think of is they knew it was a manager that maybe had the safe codes

  2. If I were an "older white male in a green pickup truck" I would be concerned for my safety. Why would the police partially identify a potential witness to an armed robbery?
I'm not a cop, so maybe I'm missing something.

if thats correct ..thats alot of cash to have on hand at a conv.store on friday nite. either the perp knew they kept that much on hand or he feels like he just hit the lottery.
my bet says they get hit again once the word gets out there might be that much on hand.

  6. Have you ever been in this store. They do not do 10k in sales in three weeks. I sense insurance fraud.

  7. No responsible convenience store manager would keep that kind of cash on the premises. Period.
There is more to this story, for sure.

  8. This joker will get popped pretty quick once the word gets out around to his friends (and enemies) that he's now flush with $10 Grand in cash.
And then we'll have to spend at least that to investigate and arrest him, five times that to prosecute him and another ten times that to put him away for just a year.
The one positive note is that no one was injured or killed.

  12. Hey! I'm an old white guy and drive a green pick-up truck. I just wasn't near Delmar when that happened. What a shame, maybe I'd have gotten a round or two off.

  13. I dont know how many of you are aware but the owners in those kinds of stores do not use a bank for anything but change just like the one in Laurel that got robbed a few months ago they had money in the back room. They also own more then one store most of the time, I ahve been in that store a few times and it is a very unsafe store, They never even pay attention that someone is in there cause they are always on the phone or playen Keno,Hope Delmar PD gets who ever did this.

  14. They don't bank so they don't have to pay the taxes on their true earnings. Then they wire most of it back home to their home country. Sounds like someone knows the routine at this store.

If I'm a thug, I'm thinking, "dag, $10,000 I'm hittin dat place soon yo!"
