  3. Is it Water Boarding or a Partial Birth Abortion.

Guess which one the Democrats support.

  7. “I’m the commander — see, I don’t need to explain — I do not need to explain why I say things. That’s the interesting thing about being president.” – as quoted in Bob Woodward’s Bush at War

“If this were a dictatorship, it’d be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I’m the dictator.” –Washington, D.C., Dec. 19, 2000

“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.” –Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

  8. Democrats dont support abortion. They support a woman's right to choose. Yet again another example of government making personal decisions for it's citizens.

  9. It used to be called "water torture" until we said that we do not torture people, then we called it "water boarding" because, hey, if it were torture, it would have torture in the name, right?

If waterboarding is so useful and not torture, then let's make it our "go-to" for everything? Guy robbed your house. Waterboard him until he tell you where your stuff is. Think your spose is cheating on you? Waterboard him or her until they tell you the truth. Your kid is cheating in school. Waterboard the little skamp until we get actionable information on how he or she will improve in class.

How come there have not been interviews with ANY U.S. serviceperson who says waterboardinbg is a great tool to use? If we are waterboarding navy Seals in their training, how come they are not lined up in front of cameras telling us how pleasant and non-torturous water boarding is?

Petraeus thinks its torture. Gates thinks its torture. McCain thinks it torture.

Cheney, Rush, and Hannity think it is a walk in the park. Strap them down and lets see if their opinion changes. Or do they not love America enough?

  10. Maybe if I would have done this to Pelosi, Reid and Barney Frank, we would be in the crap we are now!

  11. Question for all you bleeding heart liberal terrorist lovers...Do you remember what happened on 9/11/2001?

Do you remember the numerous beheading videos of American citizens?

And you wanna cry about waterboarding?

You all can thank your God (Obama) that I wasn't president on 9/12/2001 cuz waterboarding would be the smallest thing you'd be crying about...because the middle east wouldn't even exist today...it would be glass!

  12. anon 11:39-the military has rules about what is public and when they are able to talk about things like their mission, training etc. Soldiers, Seals, Marines or whoever can't just line up and talk about waterboarding. I think you've got great ideas there though, let's waterboard everybody to get the truth, it would save time and money. You should send your thoughts straigt to President Obama himself, and it would solve the whole debate. As a law abiding citizen, I have no fears that this new technique would be used for ill gotten gains-even if the Dems are still running the country.

    MY CAPTION:
Our invaluable and useful interrogation techniques have been used several times with proper supervision, here is a demonstration on Barney Franks, he chose to wear the orange jumpsuit, it's his color today.

  13. 11:39,

Spot on! And, there are plenty of SEALS and SERE instructors who will tell you that it's torture. Hell, even Jesse Venture, former Navy SEAL has been out in full force over the last week calling Cheney a coward for his 5 deferments and telling the world that it IS torture.

  15. Jim,

11:39 here. Inhale. Relax. Breathe a bit.

Mancow Muller (the DJ) said the same thing, "they behead our guys, we pour water on them, big deal."

Until he got waterboarded himself. He did it on air to "prove" the technique was not torture. He lasted 6 seconds and said after, "its torture."

The only ones on your side of this issue are people who have never been waterboarded and never will be (Cheney, Rush, Hannity.) These are the guys you want leading the charge. Funny how Ollie North (a waterboard victim) has not come out loudly proclaiming the patriotism and pride that comes from a good ole waterboarding.

The military leaders, GOP leaders, and people with common sense and an idea of what it mean to be an American (in the same sense the founders did) know waterboarding is tourture.

If we stoop to the levels of the enemy, then we become the enemy. How do we then claim to be superior?

There is power in tolerance and the rule of law. There is only fear and weakness in violence.

So Jim,strap your kids to the mat and waterboard them to show how much more patriotic you are then the rest of us. The rest of us will be at the adult table if you wish to join us.

  16. Word is that Mancow faked his waterboarding. Wonder if those Sharia girls reaching puberty would rather be waterboarded or have their clitoris chopped off.

  17. My recollection is that OBAMA was one of only a few Senators that voted FOR partial birth abortion. One of the few actual YES votes he cast, most were PRESENT. He also was one of the very few who voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, and actual VOTE not "Present" Please tell us brill-yunt liberals, why does the born alive infant not have the right to chose.

  18. Dan says-If we stoop to the levels of the enemy, then we become the enemy. How do we then claim to be superior?

Here's the thing DAN, they aren't stooping at pouring water on our heads, they're cutting off heads, they're brainwashing kids into blowing themselves up.

2cents says-I'd rather be a bleeding heart liberal pacifist than a right-wing extremist idealogue nutjob Constitution hater like Jim S.

Bingo, you're a winner!! Go get your prize!! Jim stands for something and doesn't spout on and on about nothing.
Don't get me started on Chuck, you guys should be the Three Amigos, it's a real knee slapping tear jerker!!!

  19. Mancow Muller has claimed it's torture!!! Stop the presses, we have ended the debate. No one ever said that you would enjoy or even tolerate being waterboarded, that's the POINT!!! Your head is still attached, you can go on and procreate or behead, your choice.
