American Capitalism Gone With A Whimper

Source: Pravda.Ru

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

  1. You are using Pravda as a source? Pravda?

Again, when the hell have we ever cared what the Russians think?

  2. The collapse of our economy is due to the hands off policies that had the fox running the hen house. The republicans have robbed us all.

  3. The Republicans have robbed us all. How can you possibly blame this on the Republicans, it is intellectually impossible. The fact that you believe that for a moment shows exactly why this country is headed for disaster.

  4. the prediction that america will turn into zimbabwe is so untrue and reveals no understanding of our economy. America is and will be an economical and technological leader. Whether Americans will have an ideal quality of freedom is doubtful - certainly we have already lost some freedom in the last decade, but America isn't going to collapse that is just dumb.

  5. This article certainly hits the nail on the head when it mentions people knowing more about their favorite TV dramas than the drama in DC. We have certainly been dumbed down to act like sheep. How long are we going to be blinded by the bling and totally uninterested in what's really important?

  6. First of all, since it's an editorial, I don't think the 'source' is relevent, as it could easily be from NYT or WP. Second, why attack the message without invalidating the points made, such as knowing more about tv and McDonalds than politics? It's spot on in those regards, and while the term 'dumbing down' may be a little hurtful, the facts about what is being taught are correct, so it is again a valid point. By looking at what happened to Iceland's government, I think the cause for concern should most definitely be there, without closing one's mind and shutting out the very real possibility that the 'annointed one' may actually be bad for our country.

  7. So a man who has been president for four months is to blame for everything wrong with this country?

  8. The amazing thing about Obama is that he actually has hard-core right-wing Republicans DEFENDING the anti-American thoughts of the Russians. Who knew that could happen?

If the so-called Liberal Media Elites question the direction of the country, the noise machine labels them as traitors, terrorists, and thugs. But, if a Russian (or perhaps a Frenchman) expresses that same opinion, he should be lauded and commended for his insight.

    Wow.

  9. 8:35 "The Republicans have robbed us all. How can you possibly blame this on the Republicans, it is intellectually impossible."

Let's see. We're fighting two wars and we're in a serious financial crisis.

Let's see... Who got us into Afghanistan and then messed it up so we've got to spend mucho dollars there?

Let's see.... Who got us into Iraq and then totally messed it up so we've got to spend mucho dollars there?

Let's see... Who got us into our current financial crisis and then totally messed it up so we've got to spend mucho dollars stimulating us back to some sort of normalcy.

    My question for you:
How can you possibly NOT blame this on the Republicans, it is intellectually impossible.

  10. 12:51 pm you are mucho liberal without mucho information...Congress is to blame, all of them all the time...not Repubs or Democrats, but the whole body of lifetime politicians, spending our money and not knowing anything about the regulations they pass on the industries and people they impose them on. I think Obama is trying but his socialist policies are proven not to work, and Bush leapt headfirst into social engineering policy by the first bailout. It's obvious this is not a Democrat or Republican thing...it's a DC thing. Vote out the incumbents, start with Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Dodd, McCain, and the end with Obama's Clinton retreads.
