VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED FOR PORK IN THE PARK!

The largest BBQ festival east of the Mississippi will be taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday April 17-19th! They are still in need of some volunteers and what a great event to volunteer for! Live music, great food, arts & crafts and fun rides for the kids - this is a great event! Over 15,000 people visited Winterplace Park during last year’s event. Go to www.porkinthepark.org for more information.

If you, or a friend or both would be interested in taking one of these positions please contact Kia Jones, krjones@wicomicocounty.org or at 410-548-4900 and let her know right away and she will get you entered in. The great thing about volunteering for this festival is that you receive a free ticket into the event, a festival t-shirt and, if you work 4 or more hours, a meal coupon worth $10.00!

The times are listed below that people are needed – but if you can only volunteer for a shorter shift that’s fine – just let us know.
