Sharp Water Helps Salisbury Fundraisers

Sharp Water provides hydration and support to charity walk/run events 100’s of cases of bottle water donated

SALISBURY, MD – In these times of economic downturn and people’s hardships on the rise in the community, Sharp Water’s mission is to make life easier for local residents. Throughout various charity events, Sharp Water continues to support Maryland and Delaware non-profit organizations and individuals.

“We get great pleasure from being involved in the community and are committed to reaching out and helping those with hardships. Our donations of bottled water to these events benefit not only those we give to, but creates a climate of goodwill knowing we at Sharp Water are contributing to our neighbors in need,” said DJ Shannahan, owner of Sharp Water in Salisbury.

The “Beat it With Brooke” walk-a-thon, held Jan. 25 at the Market Street Inn, raised $17,000 for the Brooke Mulford Foundation. Over 500 walkers participated in the event. Sharp Water in Salisbury donated free bottled water for all walkers.
Brooke, age 5, is the daughter of Rob and Amy Mulford, owners of Market Street Inn. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma in early January. All proceeds from the walkathon go directly to pay medical bills for the Mulford family.

“It went fabulously, we raised $17,000 just with the walkers,” said Tina Tomczak, a friend of the Mulford family and one of the organizers of the walk-a-thon.
Sharp Water recently donated cases of bottled water to this event:

  1. If only Duke Shannahan had been our mayor instead of Barrie! Thanks to his son and daughter-in-law for their generous spirit!
