Sending a letter to your tenants is perfectly legal. This letter however proves that this ONE ISSUE group are scared the city will have a mayor with a backbone, one they cannot control.

  6. Thank you for your advise Mr. Rinnier, but I am voting for Jim Ireton, because my safety is my priority.

  7. Anon 5:33 you are right on, that's exactly what they are implying or threatning us with.

  8. The Rinniers are a joke. How dare they tell people who they should vote for. It may be legal, but it is very misleading. How is the single parent struggling to make rent going to vote if their told there rent will be raised if Jim wins. Everyone that leases from the Rinniers get out and vote for Jim.

  9. If you vote against your landlord's advise...and the better candidates win, at least you will have a leg to stand on when you need repairs, your security deposit back and many other things.
I would rather pay a little bit more and have repairs done on time and NOT be stuck with paying for a broken or cracked window when I moved out that was like that when I moved in! For once, landlords will be subject to codes!

  10. Just saw the WBOC report on this--thanks Mr Trader for having the guts to come forward! If you vote against your landlord's advice and you experience ANY retaliation, report it here and we will get you a lawyer for free.

Also anonymous for just a few more days . . .

  12. Well that shows just how smart Blair is, the date for registration to vote is long past.

Ask Gary how long the state ethics board followed him around, his every move for three weeks and was forced to retire. His boss was fired for misappropiating funds and this is who Rinner wants as our mayor?

Joe's pictures of Gary loafing on the job and doing city work on state time is double dipping and AGAINST the law. The picture of the puzzle is finally coming together. There is even more to come.

I told ya's there was more news to come, and this Can-O-worms has just been opened. Wait for the details, if someone isn't in hand cuffs that will be a real crime.

I hope they rethink his dismissal and take his retirement back, he was fired, now it's time to force accountability from the state and take our tax dollars back. Gary didn't do 5 years of REAL work in his 35 year tenure for SHA.

Momma always told me a liar will also steal, she was always right!

  13. Wow - Is no one literate any more?

Mr. Rinnier, please feel free to contact me through Joe, as you very obviously need someone to proofread and edit your 'writing' so that it adheres to correct grammar and sentence structure, which you should have learned before you even attended high school.

  14. The Rinniers are a better family than this. I wonder if Blair's father approves of his son's methods.

    So disappointed in them.

  16. lol as if people from salisbury are droids and dont know the truth already thanks to joe. If people would wise up, they all have contracts or leases on their places so the price wont go up right away if at all. What a dirty dirty trick. Lets all send letters to comegys and tell him who to vote for maybe it will work?

  18. I find it laughable that Albero is permitted to express his opinions conerning this election on this blog daily, almost by the hour and on the hour, even going as far as threatening to intimidate and harass citizens for simply posting a campaign sign on their property, and another citizen/businessman must keep his opinion to himself. Joe, you're a big First Amendment kind-of-guy, what's up wit dat? And I don't want to hear some lame explanation about how he's a landlord and he's blackmailing his tenents to vote his way. He's simply stated a common reality in business, which is: If the costs of running my business increase, a portion or all of those costs will be passed onto the consumer. There really is not big revelation or secret to that concept, it happens every day.

  19. 8:50 you must be half asleep reading that letter. Blair flat out said Ireton, Campbell and Polk are inclined to raise the fees for rental properties. Although he refers to them as the alternative to Comegys, Boda an Shields.

He, like you is so full of crap you stink. If you can read that letter you can read the Daily Times where Gary Comegys is the only candidate to say an increase in fees is a possiblity.

  20. I agree. The Rinniers are suppose to be better than this garbage. Marlene, what has happened to you all? What a disappointment!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Dang,I always had the impression they were one of the few organizations in the local real estate biz with some ethics....

  22. How can you think the Rinniers are a better family then this? You already have the shady infrastructure reimbursement on Snow Hill Road. Now the shady voting letter. And have you noticed that little touch of white powder on L´s nose?

The apple does not fall far from the tree. If you have seen what the children have done, you can´t expect the parents to be upstanding people.

  23. What none of these landlords will tell you is that they received a letter from Jim Ireton, prior to them sending out this false information. He told them in very clear words that he NEVER said anything about raising landlord licensing fees, he has NO plans to do so, and furthermore, it's a legislative matter that the city council would have to raise. The mayor cannot do this. So when the landlords sent out this letter, they KNEW they were LYING to their tenants in an effort to intimidate them and affect their votes. What is it called when you knowingly publish something you know to be a lie?

Maybe someone should remind Governor O'Malley that Gary Comegys was openly supporting his opponent, Doug Duncan, for Governor. Gary was pimping for Doug Duncan on State time.

  26. The Rinnier's are worthless Pieces of Sh!t anyways. Mommy Rinnier was Mike Dumb's campaign manager. Mommy-in-law Bartkovich is a crook on the county council who is also a slumlord in the city of Salisbury. Neither one of them live in the city limits, but they are all afraid of their cash cow drying up.

  27. Does anyone know the connection with Jody Nichols and Bubba Comegys in the Daily Rag's fluff piece for Comegys? "City neighborhoods get support from Comegys"

Where in that letter does it mention city neighborhoods getting support for comegys?

Does Jody Nichols even live in the city of salisbury?

    ReplyDelete
  28. No, she doesn't live in the city. She lives in Eden, and has a business on South Salisbury Blvd, across from the far end of the university. She's allegedly a good friend of Barrie Tilghman.

  33. 8:50pm, you are a moron. No business should be telling or encouraging which side to vote especially one that has tenants. You just can't handle the truth that Comegys is more of the same crap.

    ReplyDelete
  34. 11:39 PM ANON, here here!! Well said. The fact that "Mommy" was Mike Dumb's campaign mgr would be enough for me. This letter is just the icing on the cake.

Mike Dunn is one of the worst things that ever happened to this city, and a DAMN poor excuse for a human being.

  35. Tenents they are threatening with rent hikes they claim the opposition will cause. Mere influence peddling and nothing less.
