  2. Comcast sucks but they have the government sanctioned monopoly on the fastest internet connection in this area. There's no other alternative for the cost if you need the speed.

  3. Barack will ensure all people will have this monopolized service soon in order to generate more tax dollars, and they will not have to give back money when it's down. I feel better now.

  4. Comcast isn't down that much. All utilities have problems occasionally and there are other options.

  5. I am sick and tired of Comcast and their monopoly. My comcast has been down since last night as well. Do you think they will credit my account for it?

  6. Nope. Not with a monopoly. if there was competition, you would have a month free.

  8. Comcast is run by dummies with a very low IQ. I recently gave Comcast a chance to keep me as a customer, let them price compare to other services. So when I called up, I asked for Customer RETENTION, they connected me to..........DISCONTINUE service. I then told them that $15/month for a DVR is too much consider I can use my PC with Vista for free doing the same thing, and that most of my shows I dvr end up on HULU, On demand, and FANCAST which is OWNED by Comcast the day after airing. The person said is I never heard of Fancast, I said Oh, really since your company owns it, and you have an ad airing for it on your website, and WHEN I WAS ON HOLD waiting for you.

I bet they just letting time pass to see if the problem will fix itself.

I am sure I lost about 50 to 100 emails because when it came back on I only had 3 new emails. I always get 100 plus a day because of numerous servers I am on. That sucks.

  10. I dropped ComCrap a year ago when DSL became available in my area.

One thing I have noticed is that my service does not slow down every evening when all the neighbors log on and start downloading. This used to be a big problem with ComCrap.

  12. i lost at least 100 emails, including ones about my business, and jow a. himself said he responded to an email of mine, and it never came through, either. it is one thing for the sevrer to be down, it really sucks for comcast to not have a safety set up to be able to save and forward emails when the server is backup.

  13. If I remember correctly several years ago the mare and city council gave back the Francise Fee to Comcast Cable. In the amount of over $100,000 a year that was quite rediculous. Bubba and Barrie how do you explain that one.
