RACINE, Wis. -- When former Racine Mayor Gary Becker returns from sex-addiction treatment in Pennsylvania later this month, he wants permission to leave the county for more therapy.
Becker is charged with eight felonies, including child enticement. He remains free on a $10,000 cash bond.
He was restricted from leaving the county, but a judge allowed him to seek treatment in Pennsylvania more than a month ago.
In a motion filed Friday, attorney Patrick Cafferty said Becker wants permission to seek more treatment in Brookfield. A hearing on that motion is scheduled for Tuesday.
Brookfield is in Milwaukee County, about 40 miles northwest of Racine. That's where the 51-year-old was arrested in January as he allegedly planned to meet who he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
