Joe,
Here is a picture of the crosses at the corner of Rockawalkin Road and Crooked Oak Lane. They were built by Wayne Mynes and Ron Thomas, and erected a couple of weeks ago by the men of Rockawalkin UMC. Many people have stopped to pray and taken pictures.
Happy Easter

Where are they? I'd like to go see them.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting ready to go into work and make some hot cross raisan buns for the folks to eat with their Lamb!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a Bible Thumper but one of my favorite movies is always on for Easter. The Ten Commandments. Charlton Heston, Yul Brenner, Edward G. Robinson and many more old timers. Be my first time seeing it in HD!
Joe do you really think that Jesus treated people the way that you do? It is blasphemy that you even mention Jesus on this hate-filled blog. You enjoy revenge and destroying lives. That is not Christian.
ReplyDeleteWont touch that one just because its Easter.
ReplyDeleteThe Ten Commandments was on last night but I didn't notice much of a difference in the HD channel than the regular one.
ReplyDeleteNo your post under this subject is what is blasphemy. Remember, we are all forgiven if we repent and accept.
ReplyDeleteThe problems on most all blogs are comments from reaction and not a whole lot of thought put behind them.
I don't always like what I see in the paper, on the TV, on blogs, or hear on the radio or orally. That doesn't mean I should crawl in ahole and listen to nobody.
I'll still watch it, they had a widescreen version at the store but I thought ah I'll watch it for free. It will probably and usually is on a couple times. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteTake Joe with a grain of salt. He has his good moments and not so good - just as everyone does. Easter is a time of forgiveness. It is not our place to judge.
ReplyDeleteThe crosses are by the Oak Ridge Baptist Church, in the K-Mart parking lot. John 3:16.
ReplyDelete10:00 anon this is easter not halloween so take your hate filled "grinch" self back to your own blog joes blog is not hate filled and never has been.
ReplyDeleteDear Ones,
ReplyDeleteI think that Mr. Joe gets mad when he sees injustice. Didn't Jesus have righteous indignation when He saw the moneychangers at the temple? Mr. Joe cares about other people. I bet you bloggers care too. Happy Easter! He is risen!
Oh, that's right. Let's be Christian when its convenient. Seek revenge on my perceived enemies, ridicule people, bully others, but let's be Christian on Easter. WWJD, Joe.
ReplyDeleteYour wrong There located in the parking lot of K-Mart as you leave to cross over to the tiger mart gas station. These are no where near Crooked Oak Lane...
ReplyDeletei took the pic and sent it in and said it was at the k mart parking lot down were the bank is. near the church, and by the tiger mart and said they were put up for Easter. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. do not know who wrote the rest of the message.
ReplyDeleteJT from delmar md
If you go down Rockawalkin Rd, you will also see three crosses. There were put there on the corner by Rockawalkin UMC...they were still there this morning.
