BARRIE: AN UPDATE ON THE POOP PLACE PLEASE
It’s been 3 weeks since we were treated to your press release to do damage control about the mess at the waste water treatment plant. The election is over, so the truth about this can’t hurt Bubba Comegys’ unsuccessful bid to become R. Necks Mare. That high priced consultant the City has hired must have been heard from – what’s the story? Inquiring minds want to know.
Please give us the latest dirt about the WWTP at your media event tomorrow to present your last budget as mayor. Don’t drop this one on Jim Ireton.
Joe:
ReplyDeleteThis time next week she'll be gone but not forgotten!
That photo looks like a short-timers convention.
ReplyDeleteShe's laughing her rear end off saying look at this mountain of crap I'm leaving for Jim to take care of.
ReplyDeleteAnyone with any knowledge of trickling filters and fixed film WWTP's knows the climate here is too cold...if we were in Georgia yes.....but MD...Not happening! Total waste of time AND money!
ReplyDeleteShe is talking too much sh!t instead of getting rid of it!

ReplyDeleteLike, will it work OK in the summer and we can build a big holding tank to store the stuff all winter???
Hey 3:55-
ReplyDeleteIf it's hot crap will the damm think work right?
Lets hope Jim can figure it all out. What she has left for him is a big pile of S*** and she aught to be held accountable for that pile and many others she built over the last dozen years!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the 1st poop palace she helped create. It was the parking lot behind the old Flannery's. He asked for help as I recall and got SH.. on. I guess that was the reason for leaving...
ReplyDeleteThe "bugs" in this system go into hibernation at around 40 degrees fahrenheit...this is why ALL other WWTP's in MD and the northern part of the country use "activated sludge" WWTP's.
ReplyDeleteHere is a link on "Trickling Filter" Systems:

Here's a quote from that link:
Drawbacks
Nutrient overload may lead to excess microbial slime reducing aeration and percolation rates and leads to removal of trickling filter bed. Trickling filter method cannot be used during cold winters when the temperature is very low since the growth rate of the organisms becomes very low.
Maybe they haven't paid the consultant yet, thus he won't release the information? I wouldn't.
ReplyDeleteThe MDE should already be on this, what are they going to do wait until May first?
The environment should come first, not a compliance date when they have been advised, or should have been advised of ongoing problems at the crap storage facility.
Maybe Barrie knew a long time ago this thing wasn't working and that is why she didn't run again for Mare. We won't hear sh!t until Jim takes over and she hightails it outta town.
ReplyDeletePaul Wilber used to be a pretty straight up guy before he sold his soul to the Mare for a few gold coins. It will be interesting to see how long he last with a new straight shooting Mayor. I suspect it won't be long. Paul, when you lay with swine..... you begin to smell like one.
