"Hey there Joe!!! I wanted to give your readers an update on the dog on 667 AKA Lucky AKA DOA!!! That's right Joe, he has been hit by a car March 10, 2009 between 5 pm and 7 pm tonight.... Hate to say it but I TOLD YOU SO!! Hope that was ending you were looking for DC!!"
That dog would chase my truck every time he saw it. I guess his luck ran out..
ReplyDeleteThe owners should have their azzes kicked for allowing him out there on a high speed road chasing cars.
ReplyDeleteTis a shame. He was a pretty dog.
What a shame.....my heart jumps in my throat everytime a dog chases my car because its an unnecessary danger.
ReplyDeleteWhile we are on the topic of animals,I just want to thank all the people who volunteered their time and efforts last weekend during the cat "Neuterthon" at Somerset County Animal Control. Thanks to those guys and gals, lots of people were able to get their pet cats and any feral cats they care for neutered and/or immunized at an affordable cost.Politics aside, its all about helping the animals! Thanks again!
If I have read the post by DC correctly, it doesn't sound like she wanted the dog to end up dead. It would seem like that is the ending that Henderson wanted, just so he could say, "I told you so." It certainly doesn't say much for the Somerset Co Animal Control or its leader, since they were unable to catch the dog. It would seem to me that the dog outsmarted them all and at least it died free doing what he liked and wasn't killed at the county pound, by heartless Henderson. I've heard that he has had plenty of practice killing dogs, both at Animal Control and supposedly when he worked at ECI. I've heard that he would laugh then and I'm sure that he is laughing now.
ReplyDelete1003 pm he had no owner
ReplyDelete11:28 if everybody would have stopped feeding him and letting him out of the trap, then maybe they would have caught him and this would not have happened.
ReplyDeleteI guess Henderson's performance bonus will be rather small this year since he couldn't catch a three legged dog over a six month period. On the ohter hand, this is Somerset County and he may in fact get a promotion for incompetance. Let's see if the new administrator, Sam Boston, will make any changes at dog central.
ReplyDeletewhy is it always about Henderson? Is that all you are worried about? You should be worried about the community and its saftey rather than bad mouthing Henderson! If the community would have left this dog alone he would not be dead and animal control would have him and he would be in a home!
ReplyDeleteIn case you don't know 2pm, no one that I know trusts Henderson and no one has any respect for him whatsoever. That is why he shouldn't be working for the county in any capacity. Any decision made by him will always be questioned. There are police reports that describe what this man has done in his past to other human beings. If he would abuse humans, surely he would be cruel to dogs. Why does the county continue to employee him please tell me? If you really cared about dogs, you would be very much concerned about Henderson as I am.
ReplyDeleteHe would be dead either way 8am. If he had a choice he would probably have perfered to go the way that he did. Better than being locked up for a few weeks and then being put to death anyway.
ReplyDeleteIf animal control really wants some easy catches, go to the Crisfield Housing Authority and catch some cats. They are everywhere and it's breeding season. Go get um Jimmy, but don't offend any residents while you are there.
ReplyDeleteI had refrained from responding to this post, because of the insane remark at the end, I felt that it did not even dignify an answer, so thought that I would lay back and see what others had to say. See Henderson, I am not the only one willing to "bash" you, as you have put it in the past. Now people can really see how vengeful you are, because your obvious glee just radiates from that post. DC
ReplyDeleteIt would not surprise me one bit if the dog catcher, James Henderson ran over this dog. You see, he could not catch this dog for 6 months and he couldn't hit it with a tranqualizer dart and the pressure was on him to do something so he is very capable of going down there at night and running over this dog when no one would see him. He has a history of irrational behavior and even if he didn't run over the dog everyone knows that he is capable of doing so. That is why everything Henderson does is questioned and exactly why he should not have the position that he has with the county. Keep in mind this dog chased cars for at least 6 months and was never hit. Some dogs are very smart and never run in front of a car, only along the side while watching the tire. It just seems very strange that he was hit just when the pressure was on Henderson to do someting about this dog. My opinion of coarse.
