It's Bonus Time At AIG

AIG stock today is worth $00.50 down from $50.00 in May!
For those results, executives receive BONUSES!

Thanks to our government bailout, it appears that those hardworking market savvy chaps at AIG will receive BILLIONS in BONUSES.

AIG claims to have a contract that authorizes bonuses.
Then cancel the contract for which you have NO money.
Simple as that. You Have NO MONEY.

If this bothers you or if it seems unfair or if you just don’t think they deserve a bonus for ruining AIG, then YOU can do something!!!

CONTACT YOUR SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES.

Let them know how you feel with what they are doing with your money.

WE ELECTED THEM.

TELL THEM HOW YOU FEEL.

Would you receive a bonus if your company went broke?
Then neither should AIG employees.

TELL THAT TO YOUR ELECTED SERVANTS.

DEMAND THEY END THE BONUSES.

  1. Only in America do we reward for failure. These people do not deserve bonuses. They do not even deserve jobs. Once again taxpayers pay for bad businesses.

  2. Is it true that AIG is the institution that holds/insures the congressional and senate pension funds?

  3. I just sent this off to all of the delegates you listed last week. Thanks for giving us those email addresses.

    To All,

I frankly don’t care that AIG holds your pension/ retirement. My retirement is valued at six thousand dollars and I am 55 years old next month. Their stock value and company funds can fill any contract the wish, but not with my money. If they can’t fulfill their contractual obligations, they must declare bankruptcy just like I did many years ago. It didn’t kill me and I’m still around. It is time to allow bad companies fail on their own. How else are they going to learn fiscal responsibility?

Be glad you still have a good paying job to help you with your savings. I have been in the unemployment line for the last 6 months.

  4. didn't the company execs on contract break their contract?
It would seem that AIG could cancel the contracts & not pay them. They say they must pay because of the contracts.
I'm confused. A broken contract is exactly that.

  6. "We cannot attract and retain the best and brightest talent to lead and staff the AIG businesses, which are now being operated principally on behalf of the American taxpayers - if employees believe their compensation is subject to continued and arbitrary adjustment by the U.S. Treasury," Liddy said.
why retain the ppl that have made such bad decisions????
if they worked for you wouldnt you want them gone???

  11. That money is only 1/10 of 1% of all the money they got from us taxpayers. That is change, they should have never gotten anything, but for the government to give them money and then complain about what they do with it; they are setting them up to take all the blame. it was never about keeping them in business, it was about the power of the governemnt and trying to take over the private sector. They send millions to SF to study a mouse, but people get upset wihen some get paid in the private sector?

  13. AIG is a holding company wityh many parts and many employees. Why would the government give them money, then complain when AIG uses a small portion of that money to fulfill contractual obligations? i guess only the governemnt can break their contracts without any recourse.

  14. I'm with Billy on they don't even deserve jobs line since they should have been allowed to fail. The bonuses are in people's employment contracts and are for sales goals-this isn't a scam, they're trying to get people back to selling insurance with some motivating bonuses and targets. I don't like the idea of big bonuses but even worse is the gov't telling your business how much money thay can spend on employees, etc...
