Salisbury, MD, March 1, 2009: Inacom Information Systems has announced that the 3rd Annual Delmarva Technology Expo will take place on April 30, at the Fountains Wedding and Conference Center in Salisbury, MD from 10am – 4pm.
This 6 hour event will allow local business and technology decision makers to explore many technologies that are being used throughout the Delmarva Peninsula. These solutions offer a high return on investment, allowing organizations to significantly boost profitability by reducing expenses and increasing productivity, even in a down economy.
“This year’s theme is ‘Save Green and Go Green.’ Delmarva’s businesses are actively seeking to reduce their operating expenses to improve profitability and to be better stewards of the environment. Every solution featured at the Tech Expo this year will help meet these objectives.” explains Travis Fisher, Inacom’s executive vice president.
An expo-style trade floor will feature product information and demonstrations from a number of the Technology Expo’s co-sponsors, including Sharp USA, Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard, Avaya, Comcast, Notable Solutions, and Alarm Engineering. Sharp USA will provide event attendees with a keynote address on document management.
Breakout sessions on special topics include document management systems, web development and Internet marketing, network security, IP telephony solutions from Avaya, Microsoft software, internetworking devices from Cisco Systems, and IP security systems. One of the more popular breakout sessions is expected to be the Windows Office Communications Server demonstration, which offers organizations to extend their existing business telephone systems to the user’s computer desktop, adding rich presence features like video conferencing.
A special appearance will be made by the Cisco Systems Network on Wheels (NOW) van. Cisco will demonstrate their Call Manager Express IP telephone system, the MARS (Monitoring, Analysis and Response System) network security solution, and their wireless networking technologies.
To ensure adequate space for event attendees, registration to the Delmarva Technology Expo is required. Those persons interested in attending can find more information and complete their registration at www.delmarvatechexpo.com.
