Incident: Domestic Assault

On Monday, 03/09/09 at 0830 hours, officers responded to Edgewood Circle regarding a domestic assault. Upon arrival, officers met with a female victim who had been beaten by her boyfriend. The victim was transported to PRMC for treatment. The suspect had fled the residence prior to officers’ arrival but was located a short time later and after a brief struggle was placed under arrest .

Arrested: Rodney C. Pitts, 24 years of age Fruitland, MD

Charges:
Assault – 2nd degree
Resisting Arrest

Disposition: Released to Central Booking
