Appraisers Ann von Forthuber and Howard Simons of Auctioneers Appraisers & Estate Representatives will be there to appraise your furniture, art, jewelry…anything you may be curious about its value. "This will be a fun and unique fundraiser for my campaign. I love that it will bring the community together in one of the nicest venues that we have to offer”, said Debbie Campbell, City Councilwoman for District 2 in Salisbury.
Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased online at http://www.campbell4council.net/. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
Bill Reddish will be our emcee for the afternoon and food will be available from Chef Stewart's Catering, best known for his Flannery's BBQ!

Sounds like our own Antiques Road Show. Should be fun!
ReplyDeleteYes, does sound like fun!
ReplyDeleteGod bless Debbie Campbell. She deserves to be re-elected. She has always had the citizens in mind, unlike those other three.
I am a huge fan of both Debbie Campbell and Bill Reddish. However, should the News Director of a radio station publically support a particular candidate? Does WICO make political endorsements, or is it a "we report, you decide" medium?
ReplyDeleteAfter the infamous Louise Smith interview, I know many already view Reddish as biased. Does he really want to compromise himself further?

Ho Hum... Yawn! Get a life.
Fun and practical, yet elegant.
ReplyDeleteNo surprise here. It's Campbell's style.
I hadn't looked at her website before.
ReplyDeleteWow.
Amazing. And she raised 4 kids?
Lucky husband, too.
With her history, it's no wonder that Tilghman hates her and targets her for her vicious slime -- she can't possibly measure up to her!
Reddish is a stand up guy. I am sure that if Boda was having a fundraiser and asked him to participate he would do that too. There's nothing wrong with this. Just like there was absolutely nothing wrong with Campbell telling the public, who has every right to know, about the problems at the WWTP. THe documents were handed out at a meeting and there is no marking of P&C. The mayor won't discipline Campbell, please. For what? Telling the public the truth. It is clear she did nothing wrong and niegher has Reddish.
ReplyDeleteDebbie has taken everything that the likes of Dunn, Cathcart, Louweasel, Shields, the drunken sot Mayor, and a lot of others have thrown at her and just kept coming back serving the people. She's tough, strong, super intelligent, and beautiful just for good measure.
ReplyDeleteI knew she has a son, but didn't know she had 4 kids till I read ANON 1:41 post. Amazing is right.
This woman should be state Senator. Salisbury's mighty lucky to have her.
Why would the Councilwoman have a fundraiser when she has her reelection sewn up tight?
ReplyDeleteExcellent point Rebel. She's one of those people I look at and wonder, "How can one person have it all?" but she does.
ReplyDeleteThe mayor used WICO to endorse her buddy Bubba, why shouldn't Bill be allowed to express his own opinion, you see it all the time on 24/7 talk shows?
ReplyDeleteThe Mare reminds me of Ann Coulter, a mule couldn't satisfy her!
One of Debbie's son's is a Marine, doe it get any better than that?
ReplyDeletei still can not beilve brushmiller was going to try to run against her!
ReplyDeleteDid anyone see the letter to the editor in the Rag today from Ron Allessi supporting her challenger? Yep a coveted endorsement from a pure bred LOSER with papers! Isn't Allessi a slumlord in the city that would benifit from a rubberstamper like boda and bubba?
ReplyDeleteRon Alessi was the push behind Louweasel. We all know what we got there. Both are liars of the highest order. Now Alessi supports Boda? Adios Boda, you absolutely lost the election now.
ReplyDeleteWE WON'T BE LOUWEASELED AGAIN.
Good turnout for the fund raiser. I had a great time, as usual Flannery's BBQ was smokin', Thanks Debbie and appraisers.
ReplyDeleteJust don't take Debbie's re-election for granted. If people like "Liquor Board" Alessi are behind Boda, you know they're looking to pull something.
ReplyDeleteDitto for Ireton and Polk. Make sure you, your family members and your neighbors turn out to vote on April 7. Your city cannot afford to lose on any of these three if it ever wants to have hope of recovery.
Good luck, Salisburians!
I went to it today and it was a fun time. Got several of our antiques appraised and did quite well. Very interesting way to have a Funf Raiser!
ReplyDeleteThe FUNdraiser was a huge success. In addition to the appraisals, they were also asking for people to volunteer to help with the campaign. We all need to turn out to vote, but anyone who has a couple of extra hours to volunteer should do so. Just like the FUNdraiser, this is a group that is fun to work with, has a good outlook, and works hard. You'll be heppy that you decided to help.
ReplyDeleteIs Alessi still on the liquor dispensary board? I don't think so but I could be wrong.
